I’m having a system error saying “the program can’t start because api-Ms-win-core-path-[1-1-0.dll is missing from my computer. Try reinstalling” I reinstalled it but still get same error. Please help
I have Linux (Debian) and every version of Cura installed pops up a window saying, "Could not probe OpenGL. This program requires OpenGL 2.0 or higher.", and won't load. Everything else works fine (Prusa, Meshmixer, Meshlab, OpenScad)........ only Cura has this error. I've seen fixes online talking about an OpenGL32.dll file, but they are always fixes for Windows. Never a solution for Linux. I have the so-called fix .dll file, but apparently Linux doesn't use these. Very frustrating.

Co-worker followed your instructions on Ubuntu 24.04 and downloaded Cura 5.7.1. It works great...until you reboot. It appears fuse and libfuse2 is doing something to the system that kills it. He's tried it twice now and it dies on boot up at the same place.
My only recommendation is to try an earlier version of the software. Depending on the company, software release versions are formatted using: Major.Minor.Patch - Did he check if the Ubuntu Store has an older version. Sadly, unless I'm in front of the system, I won't be able to troubleshoot it.
Sorry for the late response,... It's up to you. The exe contains the DLL's. The best answer I can give is: (www.tutorialspoint.com/difference-between-msi-and-exe)
Not sure what you're getting at. This part of a series that is broken up into short videos. Check out the playlist in the link. ru-vid.com/group/PLqD3DJZs3fm6rBqLXNAF-Ey6gNA6D6pjm
What part? Where did it fail? Did you select the correct version for your mac? In this video, we're using Apple Silicon which is why we selected the ARM64. If you are using an Intel based mac you should select the "x64" dmg file.
Let's see if I can help... Are you saying that you downloaded the Cura Software from the Ultimaker Website (ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura/#downloads). You likely selected the (.exe) format and downloaded the file. Then you installed the (.exe) software on your Windows 11 machine. Can you please be a bit more specific when you say... "it doesn't work", ...please. Are you getting a specific error? Did the application not install? Did it install but it won't start up? Does it start up and immediately shutdown? Are there any error messages that Windows provides when you encounter your issue?
hI BRO, im sorry if i wasnt specific, thecura dosent respond, i try it to downlod again but ist still not working. but dont worry boy because i download the 5.3.0 version and it work. the 5.5.0 dosent work too, thaks for your hel bro @@FundedYouth
@@benjaminmontenegro7139 That's interesting that the newer version failed. I'll keep that mind if anyone else encounters that error. Glad to hear you were able to resolve your issue. 🙂
🙄Apologies for the late response. Must have missed the email notification. I haven't tried it on Fedora yet. I'll spin up VM and test it out and respond to this.
