Oh, that's good to know. I felt it was high as it was in such a sorry state. It's all fixed up now as you can see. Video along in TP in the next couple of months.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who collects the Lost in Space movie stuff. I'm currently working on fixing up one of the complete robots and I've got a few of the figures as well.
Great pickups Dave. The Lost In Space bits were a real bargain! Good to see a couple more Miles figures making their way to you Looking forward to the Thundertank and Ghost Trap videos! Have a great week man 🙏
If you like Action Figuers The Jada Toys Street Fighter 2 Utra Action Figuers are good For Collecting and they are very cheap only $25.00 Bucks each and Vega and Ryu look Awesome my friend trust me you will not be disappointed
I love the Lost in Space movie as well. It was a fun updating of a favorite TV series from my childhood. I had all of those Long John Silver's toys. They were pretty cool.
Looking forward to seeing those restorations. I didn't know you collected lost in space figures. I have one or two accessories if you need any. And a spring spider but you seem to be covered for spiders lol
" Micro Machines come in collections of 5 " , " Micro Machines come in collections of 5 " , " Micro Machines come in collections of 5 " , Sorry i can still hear the advert from 1987. LOL
The pirate in the orange trousers looks really familiar. I'm pretty sure I had that figure as a child but know absolutely nothing about it. A lost childhood memory unlocked for sure.
Those Zargon figures are terrifying. I think the spinny thing on the back of Raph is so that he can spin around on his back (a bit like the vintage Orko figure used to do) but I might be wrong. Someone is bound to let you know for sure. Coincidentally I just bought a General Traag figure at the Norwich Toy Fair today, so it's weird that you got one too! Great gifts Dave!
I had almost everything Action man in my childhood mid 1970s to mid 1980s but I never had space Ranger Action man or captain Zargon I was more for the military stuff Great upload you get sent some really great stuff 👍👍
I was thinking either that or the Mego Green Arrow. EDIT - I've had a look and it definitely doesn't look like the Green Arrow one. I wondered if it might be Big Jim but Googling Big Jim Bow is a nightmare because there's actually a company that makes bows called Big Jim's Bows!
16:51 the riddler figure is from the Batman Forever film, so the Jim Carey Riddler. TM may say 1996 but was released in 1995. The Robin figure is another Kenner figure. Bizarrely it’s actually a Batman Returns Robin figure. Yes the Tim Burton sequel which didn’t feature Robin I think originally he was gonna feature at some point in the film but then he got written out. He was gonna be played by Marlon Wayans I think in Burton’s version of the third Batman film that became Batman Forever.
If I remember right Wayans was actually contracted so even though later revisions of the script wrote Robin out he still got paid. The figure is a weird one, it's obviously not based on concept art from the movie (Wayans is black and was apparently supposed to wear some kind of leather biker gear rather than the usual red spandex) and looks much more like it's based directly off the contemporary comics version of Robin. I'm sure there is a reason he showed up in the Batman Returns toyline but off the top of my head I can't remember it. I think I'm right in saying Kenner retooled this figure to make their Animated Series Robin.
Yeah I think you're right. I used to have that bloody thing, my Megatron broke out of the box one Christmas and when my parents took it back to the shop they'd sold out so they came back with a Gobots Command Centre instead. Not a good swap.
I think I have a figure here to send you, which address should it be sent in to? Would really cherish one of those stickers. Takes me back to my childhood with the M.A.S.K. sticker album I had, some of the stickers I think might have been holographic like that, and others were sort of cut out transparent ones.
