I have two Dock Demon spinning versions that are 10 years old. My boys used them before they were age 10. Cork handles and ball bearing reals. I haven’t caught anything this large yet, but my two rods have caught many large fish in various waters from mountain streams in NC to inshore saltwater where I use them now. The chrome colored coating is chipping off the plastic spools today but they’re functioning as good as ever…..I didn’t know how good they were when I bought them. It was because they were small for my kids, never dreamt they’d become my go to for most of my fishing.
