Thank you for the review! Have you noticed the walls freezing and building up ice? I've noticed with these less expensive fridges that the food freezes even though the temperature is set to fridge temperatures.
I have not experienced my food freezing in this unit. The walls have frozen condensation (from leaving it out to test the battery) but otherwise have not had any problems. I’ve had some sliced cantaloupe in there for a few days for lunches while I’m out, and it’s completely fine. Thanks for watching!
Over the years we’ve found May tends to be a bit more predictable weather wise. It’s a barrier island though so weather there changes so fast. We got hit with a pretty gnarly storm our last night there. Winds were probably in the 40-45mph range
@@Treetopflyer777 tents held up fine, awnings were put away when the storms started rolling in. It rocked me back and forth pretty good but nothing major. I had my windows open when it hit, that was my biggest problem lol I’ve had my camper open in 55mph winds (woke up to it in the middle of the night) and didn’t have a problem other than the truck shaking violently.
the offroading mud truck mud park dune buggy culture is a staple of the south but i love seeing people in the northeast showing that that culture isnt exlcusively to just the south love your videos and video quality God Bless
Thanks so much for watching! Usually up here in the Northeast is very rocky with big boulders, it was a blast to get to do that while also doing some mud bogging.
If you’re implying that he would be mistaken for wildlife in a hunting scenario, there were no active hunting tracts where we were. Cameras and lenses do funky things. I know that it looks like he was far from me but was never more than 100ft away. When he’s not actively swimming he’s wearing an e-collar as well. I do appreciate your concern!
Jim was just giving me advice on the spacing (8-10 inches) of the split shot. That and making sure I crimped down hard on it. Nothing ground breaking, cheers!
Vice designs does make a 3rd Gen 1500 mount. you should be able to mount any winch to it, as long as it has the standard mounting spacing heres the link to that: www.vicedesign.ca/collections/hidden-winch-mounts/products/2006-2008-ram-1500-hidden-winch-mount
Just found this video. Great video looks like an awesome trip. Must have stayed there a week maybe two after you. Not sure if you checked out the beach camping spot (@16:15) next to the boat launch but it looked pretty sweet also. I spent a few nights there and then took the Golden Rd over to Spencer Bay on Moosehead lake for a couple nights before heading back home.
Oh that sounds like an awesome trip! We checked out all the little campsites along that stretch of road, I want to say there were 3-4 in that general area. It was a really fun and cool trip! Bet the foliage was nice for yours! Thanks for watching!
Great video, awesome drone footage and great job narrating and making it interesting! We did a lot more camping and exploring in 2023 as well and learned a lot. We also got a lot more efficient when it comes to taking off at last moments notice and finding places to camp locally ish. High Rock Bay is a cool spot for pictures, especially with the drone! We were just up there in September for the Keweenaw Overland Adventure Retreat. Would love to see some more videos of trail rides and recoveries.
Thanks for watching! I love the UP so much. It’s such a gorgeous area that’s so unique, at least where I’m from! I’ve got a bunch of videos on the channel of trips from the last few years and I’ve got a bunch planned for 2024 as well!
Awesome, I have had my eyes on that vice hidden my for my 2013 5.7L Ram 2500. Have you used the winch yet? It sure is tempting compared to the winches Vice offers.
@@DanWeinel Thought I already did, Dan. Thanks for reminding me. Have you traveled from L'Anse south through the pines yet? If not, it's a quiet/phenomenal experience, especially in winter. ~Best
There is no 120A fuse on the positive side of the battery. All the fusing for the winch is internal to the winch. I’m confused as to what you are referencing
