Is there a way to change part of a route shown by Apple maps during navigation? Like dragging a highlighted route onto another road? Adding a stop does not work for me, because I don't know the exact location of stops.
What app did you use to download music into Logic Pro for iPad? I’m a musician and could use the stem splitter in logic for many useful purposes. Thnx.
How do you use the measure app? Do you rotate the phone to measure or do you walk with the phone? If I’m measuring a wall for example, do I walk the length of the wall or do I measure it from far while rotation phone from side to side?
Its the best entry level tablet, not the best ipad! Something that many people seem to missing the point on. It's silly comparing this ipad with the M series ipads, the Airs and Pros etc. No entry level tablet is ever going to support current top tier accessories so that is another childish, spoilt cry baby dummy spitting point to raise! Go compare the iPad 10th to all the Android entry level tablets then come back and cry...betcha got dry eyes!
There is a joke for iphone, you have 5-6 years of software update that looks exactly the same 5 or 6 years ago. Thats why a lot of people hoping for a major UI changes in ios 18. Lol
The slow scrolling feature of 60 Hz iphone 15 is one of the reason I returned it. I think it's slow on purpose so you can not tell it's just 60 Hz. My fingers started to hurt because i was trying so hard to scroll faster. On my S23 it feels smooth and it's super fast. And personally that feels natural to me.
Ahh... the only iPod I ever owned. I found that I was more disappointed by what it couldn't do than impressed by what it could do. I jailbroke it less than a week after i got it gaining access to a third party app store waaay before it had the actual app store. Including wifi file transfer, and root access to the file system. Pretty much basic Android stuff.
The new Pride wallpapers look great. I have not had any issues with iOS 17.5 on my iPhone however I and many others did experience a major literal show stopping bug after upgrading our M1 & M2 MacBook Airs and Pros to macOS Sonoma 14.0 and that is: QuickTime causing macOS to freeze and become unresponsive whenever a video is played while connected to an external display via the official Apple USB-C AV Multiport adapter (or any other USB-hub with HDMI) in mirrored mode. When this happens I would have to force shutdown the Mac by holding down the power key until the mac turns off. I & others have reported the bug to Apple. The bug is reproducible every time and is still present in the latest version of Sonoma 14.5. I also experienced degraded performance in Sonoma. I have since "upgraded" back to macOS Ventura (the OS my M1 MacBook Air shipped with) and have disabled automatic updates and will be on the look out for when Apple fixes the issue, which I assume will likely be in the next release of macOS.
I currently have an iPad mini 4 (since 2016), and have been wanting to upgrade for the longest time but they haven't released a new mini model for some time. So I have been thinking of getting the base model iPad Pro, as I would like to draw and play some games and school stuff.
Fell in love with the Mini in 2015 when I saw Stanford students using it at the gym. Didn't get mine till 2024, the 6, which I love. Thanks for the intro.
So true. The 15 Pro is amazing tech. Apple ProRes Log is NOT scary. It's an easy workflow. Cheap Neewer rig + cheap USB-C 3.0 hub + old SanDisk 1TB SSD + Shure MV88+ Mic. Bring enormous Log file into Premiere, apply wonderful FreeLab conversion LUT + minor color tweaks, and export. Beautiful results. I shot stills at a science fair in open sun with dappled shade that would destroy my Canon R6 - the 15 Pro handled it beautifully, no fuss.
Good video mate , I think you where more than fair , obviously it is a power house and with an awesome display and it is a nice tablet , but personally i couldn’t care less about being thin or a few grams lighter , I would rather apple left if a bit chubby and updated the cameras , maybe added an extra port or two, even give it a tad more battery . Thanks for the review.
I saw another tablet comparison with the front facing camera in a room with out studio lights , and the m4 iPad selfie video camera was just god awful , truly bad , just me , but I think apple dropped the ball with the cameras on the allegedly “ Pro iPad M4”. No doubt the cameras were sacrificed for the thinner form factor and cheaper unit manufacturing price not that it is cheap 😊.
