@@MaxtheStampede hi, those are just stick on glow pads. I've actually removed those already. Here is my build guide for that tool. Thank you for watching! Build Guide - Leatherman Charge Turbo! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b3UyHDRVwDk.html
Very cool man! Major props on this build. I have an ARC that I’m using since I “upgraded” from my Charge TTI, but see this build, (and also missing my charge a bit) it makes me wanna merge the charge and signal I have like you have done here. Very interesting and intuitive. If I succeed, it will easily become my set gear for outdoors, and I can still use my ARC for a daily worker.
Why isn’t the carbide bid available with the Philips head? You already have a flat head screw driver, now you have to choose between having TWO of the same size flat bits and the carbide bit, OR having a Philips bit.
Awesome video and review! Have two of the ST 300, one of them is all black. Also have a Surge but the 300 has been my go to MT and is always with me. Thanks for sharing!
Hey thanks for this. I’m looking for a cilerade that would fit in my pocket. Would you be able to recommend one that can carry the following: air pods pro, victoriknox mini champ, rovycon A8 torch, 3-4 credit cards, keys (bonus). I'm in between the viperade 10, 26 and 18s
I am on the fence with these. I think they are super cool but I feel like the only one that would actually fit in my pockets (at least in jeans that I usually wear) is the 17 (I think? The last one anyway) or possibly the 18-S, for the others I would still need a bag or some other way to carry them
I got the VE1 (in green) last year. It fits in my front right pocket great. Obviously you don't want shallow pockets, but I don't wear cargo pants or the like either, so I'd say my pocket is average size. I also don't overstuff it and use the Viperade pouch as my wallet, etc. I have a knife, pen, flashlight, notepad and nail clippers on the front side, and in the zippered innner compartment I only have a flat pouch of breath strips and a magnifier card to help me read small print. For the inside, I'm looking to add a multi-tool card that has a money clip attached so I can keep some cash in there, and maybe add a Gerber Shard for one of the molly loops on the lower front. I'd REALLY like to find some "emergency/survival" cards to also put in the money clip like how to start a fire, emergency first aid, etc., but those are oddly damned hard to find unless they're part of a pack of 52 or the like. But the items I have keep the pack flat and it easily slips into my pocket. I'm putting together similar kits for the men in my family for Christmas, and I've found a differently branded - but seemingly identical - pouch that sells on Amazon for about $15, but on AlliExpress for only $3.50. I'll know in a few weeks if it's of the same caliber as my Viperade pouch. Take care.
Do you think you could change the Scissor to the Surge T-Shank Holder ?🤔 Lately wondering if the TShank fits in the Charge Series and locks well… Thanks for your great Mod ! =D
Ahahaha! Sorry for the background music 😂. I initially got a copyright on my initial upload so yeah, needed to get some safe ones ahahha! Thanks for watching! More to go!
You may please check my other videos of Charge Turbo. I swapped the pin/lock of the Signal and attached it to the Charge+ frame. I was able remove it by using a punch tool, just be careful not to damage the edge of the pin. I will post the build vlog of this soon, just need to have time though.
