Hi there, I have a Shockwave 3 sound module to go in an Airwolf but am missing the heli sound files (it came pre loaded with boat files). David Harrison who made the unit has closed down and retired. Is there any chance you might have a copy at all? Happy to make it worth your time. Many thanks, David
The original equalization in the original recording of the engine sounds is absolute garbage. There’s way too much mid range and there’s not enough compression. All you need is highs and lows and compression to create a really homogenous acoustic sound. All of these modules sound like the planes are taking off inside of a toilet-
Iam about to start the long ranger. What heli did you use in it ? And dose it leave room for a scale cockpit ? Iam finding it hard to get hold of a trex 600 or 700 to use in my one
@@rcscalehelicopterswithsoun9563 Hi Rod 🙂 Very good test! However your answer suprises me a bit, as you seemed to be more satisfied with the transducers in the video, or did I misunderstand this? Or is it that way that, however the transducers in your test are "louder", you prefer the sound quality of the speakers? Anyway... one fact that the speakers didn't perform that well could be, that not every speaker is designed to play "free air". Most of them do need (at least a small) box to avoid an "acoustic short circuit". I am currrently building a Hughes 500D based on a T-Rex 600 (by the way a superb Little Bird do you have! 🙂) As modelsoundinc closed their production, do you have an idea where I could yet find a shockwave 3 module? Thanks🙂
