As a kid from the 70’s - I remember my mother putting drops of fluoride in our glass of water to prevent cavities. Recommended by the dentist of course!! 😮😮😡😡. We didn’t know.
Nobody expected?!? Hey guy, .... I appreciate your informing people of this .... but the inteoduction of Flouride into the water and MANY products and pharmacueticals ( many of the anti depressants are. HEAVILY Flourise baseed ) .... they found it in concentration camps in WW2 and when asked the Germans said it keeps the prisoners sedated basically .... uninspired is a better word I believe. And so HEY lets put it in the water supply back home. Disgusting. Your perception of our real opposition is lacking clarity. Possibly flouride caused. This and many other things have been very intentionally shoved at the masses for a very long time. People think that long chemical chain poison was really crafted to kill bugs or keep the lawn free of weeds. Yeah it kills thistles and look honey no more ants ...... the target is YOU. It just happens to kill various otber things so the label says ______ .... or round up ..... or baby powder ..... or formula ..... or dark chocalte ...... or Subway Sandwich ... Vax protocol ...... or damn near EVERYTHING. Nobody Expected. Pfffft.
Thank you for a great informative video! I need to have this clean water on the go. Fiji water has been my go-to water for a couple of years, and now it is not as good as it says. Can you tell me the best water next to the hydro water?
Thank you for the comment. If a hydrogen water generator is out of the question (they do make portable ones), any mineral water in glass will be the least contaminated and at least avoids microplastics. I loved Gerolsteiner before my current setup, or Mountain Valley Spring
This was actually really good, got me thinking about a thought/joke I pondered on a while back: It's almost as if God built in a practical joke into life, namely how ever much you whin in life, is directly proportionet to your willingness to do things you least want to do. And come to think about it, that's probably what J. Peterson means with "pick up the biggest stone you can find."
thanks i just got terminated from work today. not because of something I did wrong. But now I have some time to think about what I wanna do and open new doors.
Thank you for this overview, I appreciate any data on the subject. May I suggest, though, that you try and convey your feelings about your subject a little bit better ? In most of the video you come off as on-guard or on the fence about the research, using words like « bold claims » doesn’t help your overall message… So maybe in your next video, just figure out what your message is and then try and convey that message in your tone and choice of words so that one doesn’t conflict with the other ? ❤
You have described the average 80-year-old, who sometimes attends exercise classes, but who otherwise sits around unless there is something that NEEDS to be done, especially during winter months. Consider "rebranding" your message to the senior crowd.
Absolute nonsense. Notice how he doesn't mention the study or research. Because it never happened, don't let the podcast setting and background music seduce you.
Is anyone offering a grow system that produces microgreens on a daily harvest-and-eat cycle? I don't want to produce a great big tray and then have to try to keep it fresh for two weeks while I chow through it - if I have to be looking after the crop every day, I want to harvest and eat fresh every day, the same as I did when I had an outdoor vegetable garden.
Just throwing this out there and I certainly am no expert (am just doing some research now on this topic). I am assuming you are just trying to provide for yourself or a small family. If you want them as a daily part of your diet it's a bit easier to plan out imho but still doable no matter what your trying to accomplish. From what I'm seeing they can be harvasted on a weekly basis (I think you can let them even go to 2 weeks but don't quote me on that) so you could do smaller (variety trays if you choose and whichever size trays you prefer) trays that give enough harvast for that day and start another tray(s) however many days later so that you have your harvasts coming whenever you want. So you would basically be having plants at constant different stages and have a rotation. Example: these seeds were just sewn, these are at day 1 of actual growth where you can see them sprouting, these are at day 4, so on and so forth. I hope I am understanding your question here otherwise I just did a whole lot of yapping for no reason 😂.
The difference in results between the microgreens grown hydroponically in a proprietary nutrient solution and those grown in vermicompost was certainly food for thought. Time for hydroponics growers to start experimenting with home-made nutrient solutions based on vermicasts and other sources of whole soil nutrients.
Hi how r u .. Merry Christmas i like to ask u if u have any information or have u try to plant this before if yes please share a video ( AGARWOOD SEEDS ) THANKS
George Wiseman has the only affordable machine anywhere that is worth buying..these things are an over priced B.S scam..100%!! AQUACURE AC50 the only one to own!!! and I know because I am an expert, NOT A SALESMAN..
I have friends that use the Aquacure. It's a great device. They rarely use it or clean it. It's also not medical grade, nor WQA certified, nor ISO certified. You always pay for quality :). Good to hear you're an expert. I would love to take one of your courses. Building my own at the moment
Filtered water is great start the most important start. We talk all about the marketing gimmicks in the second half :). Don't have to throw the baby out with the bath water
Awesome content. I have Crohn’s Disease and nutrition is so important to keep my flares away. I’ve been growing for a while and it’s great to hear some actual data. Gained a sub 🫡🌱💧
Fun fact! Your spine also decompresses when you lay down! The stretch you feel when you hang is mainly because you're doing a dead hand and your shoulder is being pulled on
Really Interesting Alexander, Thank you from Tarawa in the Equatorial Pacific. Am in the planning stage the greatest issue is getting the seeds here, high shipping, chance of heat-degradation stuck in a shipping container. But What a wonderful passion, Micro-Greens.
Oxalates are really really nasty when it comes to long term health, and I find it curious (and suspicious) that kale and spinach have been pushed relentlessly for ‘healthy’ smoothies and they’re two of the highest….same with almond flour for the low Carb Keto recipes, it’s one of the highest oxalate nuts by far. And….Same with the proliferation of nasty and toxic rapeseed oil, the food chain is rammed with it. Broccoli, all the cabbages, and watercress are all amazing nutritionally and low oxalate. 🙂👍🏻
I know this is 2 years old by now and I just started the video (2mins in), but may I ask: When saying "per tray", do you refer to the 1020's? This is 10 inches x 20 inches, so roughly 27-28cm x 56-57cm (if I remember correctly). Why is your yeild so low? I get 18-25g per tray with much, much smaller trays. Like alot smaller. I just thought about switching and trying 1020's, so this video made me go "huh? whats going on here?" haha. And now: Into the video. Many thanks.
edit: I see now, your conversion from ounces to metric (gram) is off by - about - a factor of 10. :) Thank you for the video. Really interesting and really helpfull, I just bought brokkoli and mustard the other day, ready to give it a try.
@@AlexanderCorey The first one, I think is at [ 1:45 ] and then from [ 23:45 ] onwards, where you put the numbers on the screen. :) It can happen to miscalculate since one is maybe not used to the other system. I myself cannot really think in ounces, haha, but I have a good understanding of grams. :D Maybe you were not yet accustomed to convert to metric back then. Google metric calculator says: 1 ounce = 28,35 grams (rounded), or - in other words - [number of ounces] x 28 = [number of grams]. Again, roughly, but precise enough to make sense in a scenario like this.)
@ [ 25:50 ] you put on screen "Red Acre Cabbage 24gram - 9ounces". If the google convert calculator can be trusted, which I assume, 9 ounces translate to about ~ 255g. :)
Great video, this Q & A thing is great. I've been growing microgreens and Wheatgrass on & off for about a year. I am growing now in hydroponics. I've noticed that i never have damping off or pests problems, probably because i'm growing without soil. Anyway great to see you again, also happy you're into Water. I've been looking into hydrogenated water, have you heard of Hydrogen Man, he has made so much research on hydrogen for health. Anyway take care and keep on growing. Best Regards Frank from Montreal Canada
I just subscribed and checked out your website....I will be reaching out to you sometime this week to discuss some things related to health coaching 😀🙏💯
Hi 👋 I'm a public health professional, a research scientist, and a board certified health coach. And my thoughts are this: I appreciate your digging into the available research on this and pointing out to the public that some companies/people have made some dubious claims regarding all kinds of health products. Unfortunately, the RU-vid censorship has gotten to the point where you can barely talk about official peer-reviewed published research studies 🙄 Anyway, here's the bottom line at the end of the day: if we just eat whole, healthy foods, like microgreens, and all the other veggies, in general you can be fairly confident that this is going to improve your state of health, whether you are generally healthy or have an illness. Either way, your body is going to thank you for providing these vital nutrients. Some people can not tolerate some veggies due to food sensitivities or allergies, and that's okay, that's why we have a large diversity of plants to choose from to consume.
Hey just for the record: HPLC and MS are very standard pieces of equipment used for lab testing. Pretty much every testing lab uses these machine to test against CRM (certified reference materials) to identify if a “sample” (micro greens in this example) have “X” compounds in them. I know it’s a mouthful to say these names but HPLC and MS are really common tools. 👍
