The screen puts off a Bluetooth signal that you can connect to on the Tesla screen. In my experience though the audio via Bluetooth in the car does not quite sync with the video, so we usually just opt for the screen audio. Not sure if that’s just with the car sync or an external speaker or headphones would have the same effect
I don’t really agree, I would never pay $2000 for white panel inserts. Most people do not need off-road tires either and that’s really silly for $3500. Also I would never buy the FSD at this point because if you have tried it yourself it’s actually really scary so in essence I’m saving quite a lot of money by waiting including the 7500 that’s going to be approved soon as soon as it goes through the proper channels so that’s a savings of about 30,000 when you take into consideration the credit and the tax savings nothing to be sneered at.
I don’t disagree, I personally am not going to pay for any of the upgrades. More was just trying to say that if you were someone that was going to get those things anyways and didn’t qualify for the tax credit, then the foundation series wasn’t as much as a first mover markup then some assumed. Thanks for watching!
So I realized after making this it is specifically for businesses. So if you can claim it to that you can use it, but for general consumers nothing yet
True. I looked into that myself when I noticed it’s commercial. Curious as to the timeline on the non-commercial credit. Hopefully it goes like the model 3 refresh and only takes a few months.
I don’t mean this to be a stupid question, but I do Uber deliveries with my present Tesla can I write off my Cybertruck when I take delivery? And use the tax credit?
@@Freedom-IXOYE I'd imagine you'd need to establish an LLC for your business and then have that LLC buy the car. Business auto loans, credit, and insurance work slightly difference than general consumer ones. If you are generating enough income from your deliveries, it probably is a good idea to open an LLC anyways for tax and liabilities reasons.
@@mighty_maxwell thank you I just got off the website and it says you need to use your vehicle 50% of the time for your business and that wouldn’t be the case. I’m just hoping the 7500 tax credit comes in soon for the cyber truck because my delivery date will be next month at the latest, I just sent an email to the powers that be…
in any of the shots of the lights the bulbs are really obvious even with the cover. is this just an outcome of the camera or is this the case in person too?
So it’s definitely more obvious on camera. I will also say that the effect is exacerbated by the fact that I didn’t utilize the led light strips 3M adhesive. If I had and pushed it against the track, it would probably completely diffuse the look of the separate bulbs. The company actually wants to send me another strip to do a demo of what it looks like on trim, which would be fully visible, so I would do the actual adhesive. Stay tuned for that in the coming weeks if you want to see the look. Thanks for watching!!
@@mighty_maxwell thanks for answering man! To be honest I’m making a review on the same Product today!! I came across your video while looking up the product!!! Thanks for answering the question!!!
i was looking for the update but i got dissapointed on how the put the H2 chip on a $129 headphones but werent able to do it on the $549 ones. What are your thoughts about this? we will se a top tier headphones from apple next year?
Not thrilled about the lack of upgrade either. If I wasn’t already in the market for headphones, I probably would would have waited until next year, so it’s really about if you want them now or see if apple actually does an overhaul in the future. Still fantastic headphones as is. If you don’t care about the usb-c, you can always get the lightening versions for ~$390.
So with the new type C input you can now listen to music in lossless quality? Do you know if you can use a type C cable directly to a MacBook? I would like to know.
Some reviewer are installing this without removing the control module. Is the control module removal from thebold steering wheel necessary if you want to keep the heating steering?
I noticed that as well, but unless the wheel comes with a module (mine didn’t), you definitely need to transfer it. It controls the buttons, horn, and heated steering. Basically your wheel can’t communicate to the car without it and will show error messages. Again can’t said if other reviewers got one with a chip pre-installed or just skipped that part of the install. Thanks for watching!
@@juanpablotorresgodoy7111I was at the Trafford centre Manchester Uk at the weekend and popped into the Apple Store to see them in person. I took one look at the light blue and thought it looked more silver so wasn’t all that keen, but the midnight colour looked really nice in my opinion.
@@beaniemac83 yeah, the blue one looks good but it’s too light for my liking. I personally like the previous colors better but since this was my 1st time getting Airpods Maxes, I chose to go for the USB-C version. I wish they kept the space gray and silver color ways.
@@beaniemac83 I thought I was going to notice it more, but after using them for almost 3 hours with no breaks, it didn’t bother me at all, and they are super comfy. ANC and Transparency are for sure the best I have tried. I used to have the XM4’s but they build quality wasn’t great, let alone transparency mode.
Hey Mighty Max.. I did roughly the same thing you've done so far. I attached a USB-C 4 port hub (the smallest Hub I could find) to the USB-C port in my Tesla's glove box. I then added two SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD's to the USB hub. (Costco $69.00 ea) One is formatted with a TeslaCam subdirectory and the other one is for media where I put all of my ALAC music libraries. As far as TeslaCam goes as with your set up rewriting the drive is going to take a long time which means the reliability as you were indicating is through the roof.. BTW If you ever get a chance to listen to lossless audio through the TESLA audio system, it's a happy place.
I’ve gotta be an honest I was genuinely looking to buy these but they didn’t turn out to be anything but colors and usb c upgrades after 4 years I would at least have updated the chip and gave it Bluetooth 5.3. Apple being Apple at its best
did you guys noticed a change in the noise reduction since the release of IOS 18 ? I feel like it got reduced again as i tried the old one a week before the update and now that i tried the new one at launch, i"m kinda disapointed.
I bought mine same color and on the same day.🎉 My only problem with the Max is the price and that they are not waterproof in anyway. I usually walk 20 minutes to work.
It is a trash update if you already had AirPods Max, but I held out on buying them until they moved over to USB-C so it’s like a whole new product for me 🤷🏾♂️. I love them so far
@@guillaumepato7423 Perfect? Where's the lighter design? The new case? The increased battery life? The off button? The improved sound quality? The lossless audio? The H2 chip and all the features that come with it like the old Airpods Pro? The increased water and sweat resistance? I could go on and on. This is not a "perfect" product by a long shot, this is just apple being lazy or not caring about the product.
If you’re picky about 3D sound (spatial audio) and use iOS most of the time, go with APM unless you’ve Sonos Sound bar like Arc, I’d recommend going with Sonos Ace.
I am owning and so far really enjoying my Sonos Ace headphones. Compared to the AirPod Max they support a newer Bluetooth codec (5.4) much better battery life and they sound decent. Build quality is great too. But the Sonos app is a joke. It doesn’t even recognize my Sonos Ace anymore after the latest software update. Today I would probably choose the Sennheiser Momentum 4 which is less expensive and has even better sound and battery life.
It’s black. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from these and the old space grey. The blue is coming off the lighting in the room and the computer monitor. Thanks for watching!
They are a dark blue. I've got them held up to my fake airpods Max that are space gray and you can definitely tell a difference. Worth it for the USB-C functionality though.
Midnight isn't black and this reviewer is an Apple Fanboy, no offense, based on the video and their replies. Midnight is a darker shade of blue and Black is black and this ain't black. I wanted to buy the Airpods Max, but they didn't sell it in black.
Midnight, black and space grey are definitely different colors. Midnight is a very dark blue shade. Gorgeous. But def. not black. Can‘t understand why he says that. And space grey is way more light.
@@aloacat If we're basing it off Apple products their Space Gray is darker than Midnight, but definitely more of a darker shade of gray. I don't think they would ever do a true black color of a product like they did with the Macbook back in 2008.
i have always wanted to try this , price point is good , biq question does it auto connect when you get back in car after setup , always found the hotspot needs toggling which is a pain
In general, I've found that my hot spot connects faster when I open the hot spot section in my settings. With this product that seems less frequent thought. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
If you want to use it while driving yes since the infotainment display uses the browser to access. I suppose you could hot spot your phone to give your Tesla WiFi on the go, but it will likely impact your connection speeds and how fluid your experience is. Thanks for watching!
Yes if you have enough room to utilize the slightly wider portion of the trunk near the opening you can fit the strollers in horizontally and stack them. Thanks for watching!
Basically I'd like your review. But you skip the part that I was most interested in watching and that was replacing the airbag cover. For me that was the most difficult part trying to remove it without damaging it to add the new one. Also, I would recommend using a breaker bar and not a ratchet to remove the center bolt. First of all that much torque on a ratchet wrench is not good for it.
So I actually forgot to include this in my script, but I opted to keep the original airbag/cover in tact and install it on the yoke. The OEM looked good with the rest of the yoke, so i decided to avoid the hassle. Sounds like I was correct in assuming it was difficult! Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Yes I had a ladder angled on the roof and had my brother hold it in place. Not necessarily the safest method or one that I would recommend, but I’d didn’t have a ladder long enough to reach from the ground. Thanks for watching.
I noticed those lights in the front that you installed closer to the wall stand out the most and looked amazing. Do you know may inches from the wall are they? Thank you
