Hi! My name is Matthew Sanchez and I am a junior at UCLA. My channel is mostly dedicated to making videos about UCLA and the tangents my life takes me on! I hope you enjoy the little glimpses into my life.
hi! unfortunately the floor plan is kinda wrong and there is not supposed to be a closet there despite the floor plan saying other wise💔 in the smaller room there is only one closet.
Hi! Are there hydration stations on each floor of Centennial like there are in other halls? I used the ucla map to find hydration stations but there were none indicated in Centennial/Olympic - trying to figure out if my son needs a brita pitcher
There are water refill stations! The water is filtered and it is maintained regularly. I would skip the brita! I would get an insulated bottle instead!
Hi! I am going to be a freshman at UCLA this fall and I’m so stoked! I’m majoring in microbiology, immunology, and Molecular Genetics. Do you know if the program at ucla for my major is good??
I was also supposed to major in BioChem but I accidentally put BioChem as my alternative major but I’m lowkey wanting to stick with microbio, immunology, and Molecular genetics
MIMG is one of our most popular majors! The main differences you’ll experience are the types of classes! In MIMG you can expect to do more biology courses versus biochem where you take the chem series bio series and biochem series. having done the biochem course i won’t lie it was pretty challenging but my best tip would be to review material after lecture and go to office hours! Especially for STEM 😅😅 hope this answered your question :)
guessing you're premed? well good luck with your journey to med :) i've always found it weird how in the UK we can straight into medical school after completing Sixth Form (the equivalent of junior and senior years of high school), yet in the US you have to complete 4 years of undergrad first. honestly i think having to take physics classes would put me off straight away haha, but good luck to you!
I am premed! I did not know that the scene was so different in the UK. Medicine seems much more accessible as education is i’m general! Thank you for your comment :) good luck to you as well!
