Thank you for taking time to comment. I gave the unit to a friend and made this video to show him how to use it. I have no idea what the exact settings were. This is an excellent vid by someone much smarter than I explaining how to sound like The Edge. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7HnWpSaZXu0.htmlsi=3rLEHs9esVEhe4rm
They are called “water decals”. Just follow the directions-search “pin-up water decals” on eBay. I think it the same process as adding a “fender” logo to your headstock.
D112 on Kick, Sm57 on snare, and some cheap condenser mic overhead. I run everything through a stomp-box compressor before the Tascam. Pretty primitive setup,…but I am too lazy to learn Logic or ProTools. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it!
Haha! Thanks dude! I appreciate it! Recorded on 1980s technology in my basement-all real instruments because I don’t know how to use all this new high-tech stuff.
Thanks Andy! I frickin’ love you and am so grateful for that short amount of time that I got to play music with you. You wrote some of the best songs and most memorable bass lines I have ever heard. The rest of the World doesn’t know, but I do. And FTW.
Oh my goodness. That was brilliant. I feel like you opened up a door that could take humans to a place where they actually share without pretending. Pure genius. Love it.
Wow! Lovely statement! Thanks for taking the the time to comment. I appreciate it! And it means a lot coming from you, Alice. You are probably my biggest inspiration/mentor and my favorite artist. Shhh,…don’t tell Picasso that you are my favorite artist-he’s super-jealous.
I keep listening to her version and others …and i always come back to your version …you are the best version ! I listen to your video at least once a week ..thank you ! You are the best !
So that was dark but powerful. Art can be an amazing cathartic act. The visceral images and message definitely illustrated the pain. Nice to see Jonah’s images.
Animation starts at 1:50m. Thank you Jonah Otte. Jotte. You rule! 26 years after writing this song about a girl named Lindsay, I finally have a rock and roll music video.
Hey! Thanks for taking the time to comment! I agree. Not my Strat-I borrowed it from my friend Nate. It is the cheapest of the lot and may very well sound the best. You could pick up these Made-in-Japan Fenders for 300-400 dollars in the late 80s/early 90s. They sound and play great.
