Haven't ever been a big fan of Riviera's or Maritimo's - they seem to be the Silverton's and Sea Ray's from down under, but I do have to say this is one gorgeous boat and won me over!
Absolute makes some of the best production yachts, i like them better than Azimut and Sunseeker. I would always prefer a Galeon or Riviera, but if these weren't options available, I woukdbe upset if Absolute was one of the choices I got either. Greenline is another one I think gets overlooked in this category, but the Navetta is definitely one of the nicest sub-70' yachts available and that fly bridge is the biggest reason.
Really tired of the stock light “wood” IKEA finish in the Grand Trawler. Change it up Beneteau , come up with a darker wood finish that doesn’t look like cheap flat-pack junk.
I have to agree with you on the colors. A darker more expensive, nautical look is better on a larger yacht. This is not a condo it is a yacht. And while I and not personally familiar with the Brand, from observing the Beneteau videos and watching reviews I seem to get the impression these may be “built to a price” boats. Or as someone in the building trades once said would say they are using “builders grade “ materials for the interiors. It may be a fine handling yacht but the interior looks kinda IKEA like.
They have darker wood finishes and upholstery available. The fact that you don’t see it much in the videos and reviews probably tells you which is more popular.
@@chrishowe2935 Yes, I get that. Colors, fabrics,et al, are only fillers inside a hull. Just like at home, furniture, art work, draperies, fixtures are simply fillers inside the frame and structure of a house. And it is all subjective. I want a nautical look on a boat, - it certainly need not have to be wall to wall teak and mahogany, but on a boat where things can get wet - and sometimes dirty - I do not want whites and beiges to show every spot. Unless you have a crew to keep up with this stuff, you or the Mrs will expend more time cleaning that enjoying the boat. Boats have been described as demanding mistresses, which are always in a high, constant and expensive state of maintenance: so having relatively maintenance free fabrics and colors are certainly a plus in any boat I would own
100% when I have access to one! It’s a hard boat to come by usually sold by the time it arrives. However a new 64 is in the process of being built with a delivery expected at the end of this year early next year. So that’s the soonest opportunity I have at this time.
NICE boat...but your over-use of the word NICE became somewhat annoying! Please take this as constructive criticism and explore the wonderful and varied world of adjectives! :)
@@harlansnyder8070 Miele appliances are an option. Do look up the new Absolute 70 Navetta which was released this year, complete new color way very light interior.
