How soon we forget. Yellow declared bankruptcy and over 700 drivers were out of work! Why not destroy the company vehicles - the company destroyed so many lives, livelihoods and families.
reminds me of cash for clunkers when we had to put sodium silicate in engines to render them useless. It is all bullshit. it takes way more energy to make an engine than to keep one going.
Looks like a lot of these are old Yellow trucks. My guess is the 2000’s era trucks aren’t being messed with for auction so they’re junking the engines and scrapping the trucks
@@WilleJamesHuff Is it standard practice to seize the engine when old trucks are scrapped? It seems like an unnecessary step, even if they don’t plan on trying to sell it.
No he's not, he is referring to the truck, specifically the engine of the truck. Probably some kind of government grant on a newer truck if he has proof of destruction of the previous truck.
