Trying to balance fulltime work and life + a personal creative outlet
Would just like to use this space in reference to any soundtrack related content on my channel, this will also be attached in the description of all subject content. In accordance with copyright law and RU-vid's own guidelines I cannot, and have never had any intent on monetization of soundtrack uploads on my channel. My hope is that these uploads do get claimed by their respective rights holders and if any revenue is to be generated, that it goes to the owners and people that have worked so hard on them. This goes for mixes and any small adjustments done by myself as well, I am simply rearranging or adjusting the fantastic work of others.

Iceborne's Fatalis fight is way, WAY better than his old gen fights, even in GenU. Also, when it comes to gear, Fatalis' is LITERALLY the best. In spite of having substantial negative affinity, they have both purple sharpness and have such insanely high raw that it often doesn't matter. Indeed, they're so powerful that they even out-damage many elemental options against monsters that are weak against said elements. The one exception is Frostfang Barioth's weapons against Fire-active Alatreon, and that's more to make sure you can survive Eschaton Judgement. The armor...oh MAN the armor. You get any skill you could ever want - Critical Eye, Weakness Exploit, Evade Window, and Handicraft among others. An additional kicker is that Fatalis armor has access to the set bonuses of pretty much every other armor set with a skill "Secret" with just two pieces, and also has one of its own - with four, you get Fatalis Transcendance, which gives you True Razor Sharp/Spare Shot, which gives you a 66% chance of not consuming sharpness or ammunition when attacking, AND gives you +100 health and stamina when you first enter a hunt and after you faint, meaning you don't need to use the Canteen to increase your max HP and stamina! Sure, you've cleared the toughest boss in the game, but it's fun to take this extremely OP gear and go ham on whatever you missed...maybe try to solo Ancient Leshen?
Do you by chance have a big google drive folder I could find somewhere that has all of your mixes as individual files before youtube's compression? The multi-generation medley's you've put together are better than anyone else's I've ever seen for the MH soundtracks and I'd hate for them to be lost to a copyright issue at some point.
I don't have everything in a drive, just on my own pc in folders that basically have everything, they total about 9gb. I could definitely do a drive at some point if there comes a time where I decide I want to remove some of the content from my channel. A lot of the high views stuff doesn't have any mixing or medley work by me so if I remove any of those videos to clean up my channel and just have stuff that I've worked on/added to be here then I think that would definitely be an option to just have a drive where people can come and get everything rather needing to comb through sites like khinsider or vgmdb. Everything I have is all organised and cleaned up with custom metadata and album art etc so it definitely could be something I do in future to help people out!
I feel like Safi'jiiva was the most disappointing Elder Dragon designwise. How do you create a monster that starts off with an unique, almost alien design and matures into a boring red dragon straight out of any fantasy TTRPG? Feels like a let down if you ask me.
I know some people don't like safi for some of the mechanics, but personally I like him. Just a good ol' fashioned giant laser dragon. A simple gentle sailor.
I remember fighting him with some randoms and doing ok but worrying wed get it done in time cuz we had 2 carts in and not much time left but then i heard this and i swear everybody locked the fuck in and we crushed that miserable lizard.
