Learned!!! 19, dropped it flat around a corner at 60, hung up underneath. Ankle, knee, elbow, heel of my palm, lost the tips of two fingers, filed off my chin, chest was nothing but burnt street pizza. Lucky I didn't hit anything but the ground. NEVER again!
Damn... I have a 2001 Sportster 883 Hugger, so you know I HAD to enter this giveaway! I would not be upset if I had a second one of these to play around on. Would love any of the parts you removed, if I win the new one.
There’s nothing boring about being safe on a motorcycle. It’s manly to have on protective gear, but there’s nothing manly about wiping yourself out or taking out someone innocent in the process. Motorbike gear has come a long way so there’s a plethora of good quality clothes, helmets and accessories. I’m glad you’re safe albeit sadly having to learn the hard way. I wish you a safe journey and many adventures or your motorbike!
Im 43 never road bikes but ive held 2 people's hands as the died.. both no helmets.. both times slow speed just hit a patch of oil or debris on highway on ramps yep twice in a 3yr span
Not sure how I feel about no front brake on any bike especially if you’re building it to haul a passenger as well, but I actually loved the way the bike looked to begin with! And the 2 into 1 exhaust looked better too but hey still looking forward to see the end
Yeah it was a good looking bike before. Going for a totally different/minimalistic look. You’ll understand when it’s all put together. This is also not the exhaust staying for this bike. Just something to mock up for the meantime. Stay tuned 🙏
@@NBTclothing I’m new to the Harley world I just got my first Sportster recently so I have lots to learn! I love that this is a giveaway bike though vs a lot of companies doing mostly newer models 🤙🏻🤙🏻 oh and I love my bomber jacket I got from you it’s super nice!
@@Rockyman86 sportsters are such a great platform. So many different routes you can go when it comes to customizing them. And that’s awesome man!! Thank you for the support. The bomber jackets are sick!
My stepdad told me what he told his 2 sons. If you want to ride without gear, try pressing your elbow into a brick wall and move at 30 miles an hour at least, then come and talk to me. I'll always wear gear, doesn't matter what I'm riding, or how far or how slow. All the gear, all the time.
You are so full of yourself it’s hilarious!!! Guys thinks everything of his is the best haha even though there are twins that would smoke that Polaris!!!!
I yelled at my coworker to "grab some leather" every time hed leave work on his bike 😂 he finally bought a racing jacket! Not leather but much better protection!! Didnt think itd work but im proud :)
I’ve noticed lately a lot of guys that put the 21 inch rim on the front are going back to the 19 inch due to the way the bike handles. What are your thoughts?
I’m going more for looks here. There won’t be any rake in the front and I may even lower the front as well. It shouldn’t affect the ride too much. Plus when you see what I have planned for this bike you’ll understand. 2 key parts that I’m still waiting to arrive.
