I hail from March 2024. During this time, each system will have their own uniquely-designed space stations, and Travelers will be able to customize/build their own ships.
2 epic tips: 1. Did you know you can go to trade terminals to sell things for more than you would at a space station? You can find trade terminals with your economy scanner from the quick menu. 1.5. Did you know you can install an economy scanner into your starship? It lets you preview the economy level of a system before warping there from the galaxy map. The economy level of a system determines how good the ships in that system are, and also the chance of finding an exotic ship. 2. Keep whatever rusted metal you find. You can refine it into lots and lots of ferrite dust. You should also find whatever goop, fluid, or mold you find as you can refine them into nanites. You might have to refine it a couple times, but eventually you'll get nanites.
It's so nice to see new Travelers coming to the game! I love how your video tells the story of your Traveler and this game is all about creating your own narratives. good stuff!
Claim the ship and sell it! (fight me brah, fight me! :D) just kidding. I'm not sure but I don't think it was possible to sell ships until somewhat recently, back in the pre-order/right after release days you could trade ships, though...
You did the right choice allowing artemis to die, i uploaded artemis and i wish i haddn't, wont say any spoilers but to anyone who has the choice let them die or you'll feel like the worst human being in nms xD
See, why Starfield worked for me and NMS didn't. I play games for quests and stories. I play because I want to hear something interesting and then be asked to help. NMS is just a resource gathering sim really.
Yeah, I was just saying this to somebody the other day. It just got another update like two days ago. People don’t understand how much this game has evolved. There is now multi-biome planets. i’m on one that has the red grass tons of animals, tons of trees, and then I found a beach, a lake, and a desert. They are really going after biodiversity on top of the fact that they have made the game absolutely gorgeous. They also added tons of missions everywhere, the space ship battles are the best, because you can start in space, fly into a planets, atmosphere, and near the surface, fly in and out of caverns back into space if you want to. The AI is some of the best and does not let up. Spaceports continue to get more and more intricate and populated. Along with the planets also. You can play the game anyway you want to, as a space pirate, an explorer, doing missions and gaining rep with different factions and species, Which gets you upgrades and cash to buy new ships, weapons, upgrades… So that you can travel further, take more damage and deal more damage. Not to mention, hold more cargo. I keep telling people, that it is the better game between it, and Starfield. Which is so stuck in ancient technology, that it feels no different than oblivion. Just looks better. Being able to fly in and out of planets, atmospheres and land on them is essential in a game based off of space exploration. Being stuck in menu systems and loading screens is not modern and it’s not cohesive with exploration. It takes you out of the game and there are so many load screens in Starfield that it takes you completely out of the experience. the only thing I think that hello games needs to… Is many cohesive stories, that could almost be their own game or mini game. Maybe each faction has a story that teaches you about their background, so you know more about them and can form your alliance with the faction that you find most like yourself. It would also be cool to have one big story based around the space travel, and your journey towards the center of the universe. I would also like to see a animation of aliens after they land on the planet, getting out of their spaceships. But all in all, as it is, it’s definitely the better game between it and Starfield. What they built from what they had from the start is absolutely amazing. Not to mention, with every update, the graphics get better and better. it’s very smooth and just a blast to play. Even talking about it now I want to go play. It’s a giant incredible sandbox for people who love to explore. Because you never know what you’re going to see when you land on any planet. When you land, and you end up on a lush planet, with lots of vegetation and animals along with a lot of sentient life and aliens… it really feels like a living planet. I appreciate all of the work Sean and crew put into this game and what they’re working on for the future. Not only with this game, but the new one they announced. Which is supposedly going to be an open, planet, living sim. I suggest everybody go back and play this again. You will be amazed at the work that has been done to make it what it is today. It is truly a cohesive game, but one of the best open world experiences you could ever have. Being able to fly into a planets, atmosphere and down to the surface never gets old. Especially if you’re in a flight combat scenario and somebody’s chasing you or you’re chasing them. With a Flight stick, along with a controller, which you can use both at once, at least on the Xbox. Where you can use the controller for when you get out of your ship to move around and your flight when you’re in your ship. Which I really appreciate. It makes the same feel more realistic. I just wish Microsoft or his third parties would make a Flight stick with either force feedback, or at least rumble. As I really miss it when I’m playing with the stick.
The story of NMS. This is a lot of players' stories. It is my story. I came back to No Man's this year, yeah, just re-started in 2024 since 2019. The change is INCREDIBLE. I am hooked on No Man's so much, I am turning in around 10 hours a day. Well done, Hello Games.
Here's a tip. It's good to carry the supplies needed (or be ready to collect them, at least) to set up a minimalist base... the base computer, a teleporter, and the means of powering the teleporter. When you find a ship, you can throw down this "mini base," claim the ship, and then just teleport to the station. The ship goes with you, even without being repaired, and then you can sell it. And the bonus is, having that base where the ship was found, eventually the ship can respawn, and you can repeat this selling process numerous times. 👍
You know that calling a star system, galaxy, it's not funny it's dum! Star system contains -a Star and planets which circle the star, a galaxy contains billions of stars!
No man's sky has only one fault, and one fault only, in my opinion. It's like the creators fear to get any content a little bit more violent, more dreadful, more difficult, more adult. The derelict freighters are simply one of the most wasted potentials of the late expansions. We could have genuinely "Dead Space"tm. terror there, no need for blood and guts, the vibe is already there. Some really mean monsters chasing us would be awesome. Other thing is the space encounters. Always the same things, the only one who offers some real problems are the destroyed derelict freighters. The combat system is good enough, we don't need "Mass effect"tm. combat stile, or anything fancy, it's not an action game. But we really could use more combat, more conflicts, and for christ sake, humanoid enemies. That would be ultimately cool to fight some vyken armadas
I know this game has some amazing content but the first hours of play is still the same boring intro they had since the launch, i can't get myself to play it
Great series so far, new subscriber here! Can’t believe no one suggested it so far but it’d be a good idea to buy and install the pulse spitter weapon upgrade. It’ll do way more damage than a mining beam. Also, you can switch between your multi-tools- rifle does more damage to enemies than a pistol does. Pistols are better at mining and scanning.
Great video and enthusiasm! I just recently got into no man’s sky and it’s definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played! I just love getting lost in space and colorful interesting planets while upgrading all my things
