Met him in Lahore, 1975 when he played a private concert for our Urdu Language program. Ustad Shaukat Hussain Khan was on tabla. The concert lasted until 1am. Truly unforgettable.
@@saswatachakraborty Gay Shree Ramesses! Lol why are you trying to make this about politics? Can't you just enjoy the film without being petty over India being partitioned?
Us time ki Movies me Pakistan kitna alag or khoobsurat lag rha hai pr aaj kya bana diya Pakistan ko waha ke logo ne🤔Duniya aage ja rhi hai or ye purane zamane ki soch pr chl rhe hain...young generation ko education ki jagah jihad sikha rhe hain 🤦🏻lage rho.
Yes. She was one of my fav heroines from late 1940s- to early 1950s when she was working in Indian films including Ada, Actress, Lajawab, Shin Shinaki Boobla Boo, Sargam, Sunehre Din and Dilruba. She wasn't able to maintain her success in Pakistani films and was reduced to small roles by 1960s.
@@cineplotAs per late journalist and writer Ali Sufyan Afaqi who penned Filmi Alf Laila in an Urdu magazine "Sarguzasht", she married to an owner of show shop who settled her in Nazimabad, Karachi where she used to teach Quran to small children and had entirely given filmdom so much so that she was never found attending an event participated by film stars. She was issueless and nobody from this era even knows that there was once a Rehana!
Heard this song once many year's ago in Pakistan, i don't know this language, but i really like the voice and music,,please any one knows which language this is,?
@@abhijoymitra3107 You need to see a psychiatrist if there are any left in Bengal bro. The hero has zero expressions. Probably you like the fair lady and her weird acting. Pak dramas are good. They have good actors. Their movies are meme material.

One of the most outstanding dance performance by great Wahidaji in the movie "Guide". In our young days, we had little scope to watch the scene frequently. Even HMV company could not put the audio piece in the LP record. After watching the movie during college days, the dance, the music, the sequence haunted me everytime when I used to remember it. Nowadays, by virtue of Net, one can enjoy the thrill in-built in that part of the movie. My deepest regards for the sequence to late Vijay Anand, S D Burman, Waheeda Rehman and all the participants there on screen & back screen. 🙏 Above all, thanks to Dev Anand for taking Waheeda Rehman to the "Sapero ki Basti" on her request. 😜
Ustad Shareef Khan is a landmark in the art of sitar playing. He is not playing any maseet khani gat here but apparently a vilambit kheyal , with all its attendant development. His extended recordings do not do justice to his art because they were recorded when he was very ill.
Waaahhhhhh wahhhhhh ! My childhood lovely songs. Anyone born who born before 1995 would remember it must that we used to listen to these songs on radio in noon time .
