When Jeff and I started PDK in SLC, Peak was absolutely a company we looked up to as a customer-focused icon in the area. That's why we approached them early on as we knew there were few that would know the pains that customers in the space were seeing every day. Doing a capex discount for extended service contracts is a really great idea! Something my dad always impressed on me was CANI, contiuous and neverending improvement; when I saw how RMR drove continuous improvement in the pure-software SaaS space, I knew bringing that to PACS would be a huge boon. Somewhat unrelated, Darren has such a great podcast voice!
5th generation locksmith in upstate ny. I've decided to take our company into the access control world. We've installed strikes and electrified locks for other companies for years but we're ready to handle the whole project at this point. Is there a formal training program that l can teach our guys how to run the cables?
As an end-user, the biggest annoyances are around Auto-Open Scheduling. (a) the scheduling options available for auto-opens are primitive (e.g., no way to do a recurring monthly schedules, little less recuring bi-weekly) and (b) no way to manage schedules (when a one-off [single date] schedule event expires it remains in the list with all the active schedules). Unlike a retail business, we have a very dynamic Auto-Open scheduling environment.

Installed another system yesterday and replaced a competitor's system that had failed and left the customer unprotected. They love it. Thanks to PDK and Christina in Tech Support.
