Looks like a nifty workaround but seriously if you need to do all this, need to run it in a browser and then not even get pinch zoom functionality, I don't see the majority of people doing this. It's a hack and not a pretty one. One might consider not buying a Tesla if you really want Android Auto

Ordered a pair of these glasses on there site and its been over 30 days and I still haven't received anything. I’ve tried contacting them by email and phone and have gotten absolutely nowhere. I asked for a refund and I’m still waiting for a response.
What android device are you using? Does it also show the + - zoom icons in maps (@ 3:54)? They don't appear in maps on my Galaxy Note 10, nor on my 2021 M3 w/ Teslaa @ 1080p.
So after a long time of using this with a few glitches here and there, I am now having a big problem. Suddenly Sirius stopped playing in the car even though it shows as the audio sourse in the bottom left of the screen and also on my phone app it lookes as if it was playing, but no sound. I had recently found that when I load waze there was a mute icon in the center of the screen suddenly (sound symbol with a line through it) and when I pressed that the sound came on. This was annoying to have to load waze to press that to hear the audio even though I wasn't using waze. Now waze will not load on the screen. It says connect to hotspot and run the teslaa app even though the phone shows it IS on hotspot and the teslaa app is up to date AND running. It's as if I am on mute for the sound but I'm not. I cannot get to waze any longer either. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the teslaa app, rebooted the car system, rebooted the phone...not sure what else to try. All I can listen to is terestial radio now...anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
I don't see the + - zoom icons in maps, either on my phone or M3's display. "Zoom map out" and "re-center map" commands zoom all the way out and back in on phone and M3, but I haven't found any intermediate zoom commands.
Thnks for the info on the battery replacement. Was curious about that. I’m gonna get me one for To Do lists for the day. Regarding drawing, with the prices of iPads (especially used) being so low these days I would recommend anyone interested in learning to draw just getting one with Apple Pencil. The experience is very realistic and real-time. Other brands try to catch up, but are still behind. Except for Wiacom of course. But after getting an iPad I don’t want Wacom anymore. Reason being they either need a computer connection, or are essentially a laptop, heavy and bulky. You need a powerful computer to do painting, because the software you need will use a LOT of resources. Regardless, if you go with that option, watch out for 2 things: 1) parallax - slight distance between where you put down the stylus and where the dot actually appears. 2) Make sure you can draw straight diagonal lines. Reviews will mention “line jitter” which affects many touchscreen laptops like MS Surface. iPad has none of these problems and just works. There’s Gen2 version of their Pencil (only works with latest models), but there’s virtually no difference between the older one. Something like 2018 Pro model will work great with Procreate app, or any other app.
Hi Techtonic. Thanks a lot for detailed review of the controller. I am used to Gyro gaming now on my PC and can't go without. I played CODM with gyro on on my phone with no controller attached. I was wondering what are other controller (similar form factor to Flydigi Wee 2T or a normal PS or Xbox) that I can use to play all Android games on the go with gyro. Thanks.
