A tradition since 1953 The Westchester Chordsmen is a renowned male chorus based in Westchester, New York, dedicated to the singing of the finest Barbershop music out there. Our commitment to musical excellence as well as having a good time make us the perfect outlet for creating this very unique sound.
We not only have a great time singing with over 60 men of all ages, but we encourage and foster the well-established Barbershop tradition of quartet singing. Whether you’ve sung for years or are just getting started, we are here to give voice to your spirit and join others who are just as excited about singing as you are!
The Westchester Chordsmen was founded and chartered in June of 1953 and is a proud member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We sing at county-wide concerts and other shows throughout the year, as well as compete at the regional, district, and international levels.
Great show! I watched the entire 2 hour production and was very impressed. These guys are great! Great comedy, great timing, greatdirection and staging, fine music choices, well sung and presented, and a very impressive number of quartets, all of of whom were very good and fun to listen to. Al Fennell and assistants did a fine job directing. The best thing about the chorus is that did not try to be something they were not. They sang from the heart, and did fine job telling their musical stories. It was a real treat to see some old timers that were still on the risers when I joined in 1995 - and some that are still here today!
Nice new "uniforms"! It suits you so much better than the other weird black shirt ones. Glad to hear you singing this knowing that you've been married to "your girl" for just over 53 years! I used to want someone who loved me as much as my father loves my mom, which is a great song by Jax. I'll see if I can find the link to that song...got it right here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D5InbVuOkkI.html Also, I finally figured out that I have someone who loves me more than my father loves my mom. Love you too Dad ❤️
Amazing message in this song, and the characterization in the faces in each photo of their passion and grit to achieve and sustain a place for their families future based on this countries foundation for life and liberty. Thank you for posting this tribute.
