Too fast for most people to dance to. The average age of people who like to dance contras or old-time squares has been increasing quite a long time, and will probably keep increasing for as long as there are any left. Used to be that 120-125 bpm was a pretty good tempo, but that's probably dropped a notch or two. These fellows were around 136, OK for bluegrass, but not for dancing.
Many people aren’t aware that Fisher’s Hornpipe is an ancient tune played by the first peoples of the Earth. Lost in time they enjoyed themselves to this tune. Played wonderfully here by these two! Keeping the tradition alive no doubt.
It doesn't matter who or what we are. Around this big Blue Planet we can play any instruments, style and genres. Music is not prejudiced, Music makes bridges between nations while sadly Religions make war. So as for us in the Northern mostly isolated part of the country. We don't have no specific groups or AI influence. Only those who choose it. We just play instruments and sing all genres. That's all we do. I love all kinds of music and people with good hearts. Keep it real 💯. Do it good. HUNYA!
