I love your uncut videos! To be honest, I am 67 years old, I had an interior design business for 35 years (now just help friends and family), I “put my face on” every day (as my mom did) and I am trying to fill an hour or two hours a day in the late afternoon or evening with entertaining videos when I need to rest my feet (I struggle with nerve pain… 2 failed surgeries) and recuperate from a busy day. If I hadn’t been a designer, I would have loved a career as a make-up artist. I love the charming glimpses of what that might entail in today’s world. YOU ARE SO DARN ENTERTAINING KATIE! I’m pretty good with make-up having had a career based in color, but I always learn something from you! “Priming the brush” has really helped me with application. My recent goal is to get out of my house faster, and this tip is such a game-changer. Thank you for returning to Utube!!! You have helped me feel more confident in my “seasoned skin” by wearing less make-up, being more strategic with concealer, bronzer, liner, blush, highlighter, etc. Keep doing what you do, please, assisting us with each step involved in creating a face we can be proud of at any age. 😘🥰

So much fun! I can’t love peach or bronzer as shadow on myself (I think I look ill), so I’d love to see cooler tones on you. I have brown eyes and a freckled nose (that I cover with concealer). I tend to use taupe, plum, grey or blue grey. I heard you say you like jewel tones with brown eyed girls, so do you like navy liner over black or brown liner colors? Can I use a neutral top liner and navy for lower liner… maybe softened a bit with brown or grey shadow? Would love an “Uncut Katie” that addresses cooler tones!!!
BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m 67 years young, and I still do make-up every day. I have oily eyelids, brown eyes, and it’s hard for me to keep eyeliner on, especially under the lash-line (better if I use shadow to set, but using shadow alone as liner does not stay). Suggestions? I’d love to recreate this look with a cooler tone-taupe, grey, plum, etc. Love anyone’s taupe??? I am binge-watching you at work, loving your content! What was the eye primer you liked please? Love the longer videos! It’s so useful to hear you explain each step as you go, so the videos NEED to be generous with your time. I’ve learned so much from you. I am learning it’s never too late to change one’s techniques to remain current… a must in my 60’s. Loved this look, but I’d love to see those cooler tones for those of us with brown eyes, too!
