They actually rap and sing. There are three members who are the core vocals and three who are the core rapline. They are incredibly talented and versatile. Checkout their cover of Flo's "Losing You."
Chisa (Hello Kitty) was driving the car in Woke Up, Juria (two ponytails) was the Egyptian goddess, Hinata (pink hair) was the butterfly, Maya (yellow hair) was the judge, Harvey ( rainbow girl) was the flying girl/black demon, Jurin (short hair) began Woke Up and she's the leader. And, my bias, Cocon (white hat) is the one who shaved her head. She is the TRUTH!
Simon Jakops is the person who form this group and trained them for years. He made sure that they understand the importance of work ethic and teamwork. They started in a group of about 30 trainees. They learned how to rap,to dance, and to sing. They have many examinations. If anyone of the trainees failed to meet his expectations, he will send them home. According to their documentary XTRA XTRA on RU-vid, some of the XG current members almost got send home because they didn’t meet his expectations at that time. However, they got second chance to catch up and succeed because THE OTHER GIRLS VOTED FOR THEM TO STAY AND CONTINUE TRAINING. As the result, they are like sisters now. This is why they use the wolf theme. Their fandom name is Alphaz because they are in a WOLF PACK. Fun fact, a part of their training is them performing live for years. XG is a Japanese girl group living in South Korea. They are inspired by K-Pop and western artists. But, they are not Korean, so fans call them X-Pop. They can sing, dance, and rap. They were thoroughly trained for about 5 years. Their goal is inspire younger generation and break down stereotypes. Beside their main songs, they also have extra contents. They show their dance skills with their XG Moves series. They even have their dance practice videos for their songs which they will do live. With their XG Tape, they do mixtapes. With their XG Vox series, they do cover songs of other artists like TLC. Check out their R&B song, Winter Without You.
