This works perfect for my team. How can i code this so when they scan a new entry it goes directly to the cell instead of scrolling down thru numerous entries?
The problem with THIS way is that if you extend that formula down the entire column, the blank cells in column A that have no date generate a bogus date in B and don't leave the cell blank if A column is left blank. Any solution for that?
i can use this, but is there any way to do it if the values change cells? i have data where i have a different number of data points in each sheet. so some of them fall in different cells, is the best remedy to create a blank data point so the cells are consistent.
Hi Barb, what about the other way around? I have data from Word, which has several rows and columns on a table. I only need certain word with associating date of that word to be captured on a specific field in excel... and this is emailed as a word attachment... help. I have several incoming emails with word attachments, and I only need the name, protocol #, etc certain words and there is a date associated with each word. I want to have the vba search for the specific word and enter it on my excel userform....or excel sheet 1 which is probably easier,,,
Hi Barb! When i click run, there does not appear to be any files created. I checked the file path and it's correct. I cannot figure out why it's not generating an error or docs
@BarbHendersonconsulting thanks Barb! I adjusted the code so it reads (r, "A") and is now pulling all the correct data and generating the docs, however now I can't figure out why it is populating the top of my doc with the info instead of the square bracketed text as indicated in the code... 🤦♂️

It's really helpful but I have one question here if we have huge amount of rows from where we have to find the account then it will be takes lots of time. I'm telling this because I have gone through this scenario.
