The Bosch PKS-55A you use has a guide rail groove already integrated in its shoe. There is absolutely no need to build this overengineered crap in the video. All you need is a 15x5mm flat stock that fits the groove perfectly attached to a piece of plywood or laminate flooring and you are done.

Можно и так, и сделать просто полочки для бумаги. Но так удобнее и по времени лишние 30-40 минут на изготовление всего. Отрисовать конечно все, что бы работало это другой вопрос.

I probably would not try to use it all day cutting 2X boards, but it's just the right size to throw in a job bag vs. your conventional heavy circular saw. Operating instructions very clear.
