Too cute lol tennis channel just showed this during her 2024 Miami senior final so I came to RU-vid to see if it was also here. Seems like they got it from you. Thanks for the upload
Wow no screaming here. This proves her incessant shriekings have nothing to do with her hitting a tennis ball. This goes for all others who scream like banshees on the court. Hello Sabalenka!!
Wow, it's crazy seeing these junior matches when I'm so used to seeing them older. Loved watching Tsonga and still enjoy Monfils. It's great to see that Monfils Magic.
@@pjw1980 So hard to pick. But the fist that comes to mind is the 1991 Lipton Quarterfinal against Jennifer Capriati. It was also during that match that I truly realized I would forever be a Seles fan. You?
@@Ricky-mo6mvI think the one I watch the most is the 96 AO final against Huber. Also enjoy the 91 UO semi against Capriati. I just remember feeling devastated when she lost the two finals at US open against Graf.
@@pjw1980 Of course the US Open 1991 is a classic and always will be. It was so riveting in every way. I much prefer the 1992 Monica match against Huber at the AO. It definitely showcases Monica at her best in every way. Absolutely ferocious. And her movement was second to none. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dcU9qZgayXw.htmlsi=BepaEiXvF4Dm_DSf
It’s crazy to think this would be Hingis’ last GS singles title. The power players like Davenport, Venus, Serena, Pierce and Capriati just overpowered her.
Hingis is a genius. She was on her way to be All Time Top 10 and just missed. 1. Navratilova 1. Williams 1. Graf 4. Evert 5. Court 6. Wills 7. Lenglen 8. King 9. Seles 10. Connolly 11. Hingis
when I learned to play the follow through of the racket was to the opposite side of the court that you were on. this is much better with this type of follow through and more compact stroke, much more efficient and more racket speed too. Coupled with taking the ball early, Monica was one level above all her contemporaries.
