Hi what exactly did you use for the dial wire handle? Did you say you bent the wire in that shape yourself or was that an existing handle from something else? I didn’t quite get that part in the video. Great mods. Thanks!
Identifying the make and model of the cup was super helpful. Did you just go into the store with your jetboil and start testing cups? How did you find out that that would be the perfect fit?
did the same as you with stainless cup on bottom. but mine is SS pot pot i found at walmart and made a wire bail incase i run out of fuel and i need something to put on the fire to boil water. it also protects the flux ring and i can do away witht e plastic cup on the bottom i never use anyway. i have the micromo
nice video thanks for sharing ! why you using Outlaw over the Rottefella ? I'm pretty new on tele world and I'm searching for info about bindings :) Now I'm using 22design AXL and is very good and funny binding. I'm coming from alpine (from 3 to 16 years old) and snowboard (from 16 to 36). Come back to skying makes me happy and remember my teens :P NTN seems to be stiffer and precise isn't ? I like sometime go fast and carving hard so NTN could be better in the future? Cheers man , any advice appreciated
Adem Back when it was first done we called it V8, I got the second or third ascent of it and battled hard. Now the main foot for the upper section is broken off and it way harder, your either have to have mad heel hooking skills or have a solid core to move off the shitty foot.
One issue that I see with Jetboil is the plastic parts like the plastic knob and the plastic shroud in the heat sensitive areas. Over time, the plastisizers will leach out of the plastic. The more heat, the more the plastisizers will evaporate out of the plastic. This in turm will cause the plastic to become brittle over time. Failure is imminent.
I have an older model. The older plastics were really good and do not have that problem. The newer formula they use is far inferior and is prone to exactly what you said. I wrote them and asked them to consider going back to the old formula but since they are a part of a larger conglomerate these days (Johnson), stockholders may be pushing for bigger profits. It is unlikely that they will return to better plastic. It's why we'll have to keep our eyes peeled for a newer cottage company with more reliable components.
@@UltraMonkeySapien Newer models do but some of the older models don't. The newer models improved the piezo ignition by eliminating the ceramic housing around them that was prone to cracking. The new piezos are pretty nice.
Would be nice if you would have done some figure skating artistery ;-)) Or a grizzly? Or Nanga Parbat downhill? Or some moon walk? There were sooo many chances, boy!!!
sorry i dont get back to youtube often, yes this can be used on all pulleys on each finger. when i was bouldering 3x a week hard every day I had 4 fingers wrapped above and below the middle knuckle.
