This channel is created for all network engineers out there. We will upload short videos that range from network technology explanation towards how to configure and implement network features. Main focus of this channel will be around the HPE and Aruba network portfolio. We hope everyone sees the value of this channel and becomes enthusiastic to join this community.
Cheers and happy viewing Airheads Broadcasting Team!! Disclaimer: Although most content will be around HPE Networking products this is not a project managed by HPE. Channel could contain contributions from HP Employees but this is not an official HPE channel in any way and all words and opinions belong to the speaker and not HPE
When switch 1 => 1/1/1 trunk with Native 150 and Switch 2 => 1/1/1 change to access VLAN traffic was not discarded. Even when Interface should only accept VLAN. How did it work. Can someone please explain in more details.
[00:00:15] AirMatch [00:08:23] ClientMatch [00:10:28] show ap arm client-match debug state [00:10:41] show ap arm client-match summary [00:11:04] show ap arm client-match history [00:11:40] show ap virtual-beacon-report [all/client-mac/ap-name]
Is there still quite low limitation for the amount of private vlans you can configure? I think at some point this was 16 or 32, quite low for microsegmenting networks where CX10k would be suitable
Wasn't version 9 of the HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ released in 2018 and is now "retired"? This video is only 3 month old. Just hoping for clarification. Thank you.
I have profiling always enabled. In this case it may have been a left-over as well from when I allowed APs on the network through profiling. Profiling is not strictly needed for the purpose of 802.1X uplink with APs.
one small improvement point, i consider, would be to introduce What is the feature giving us and examples of why we need the feature, and only then start explaining where to enable it and the visibility options. Great video, thank you
Jumping into my first sys admin role and diving into CX switches when I have only messed with AOS-s and AOS 8 is terrifying and your videos truly help make it a bit less stressful! Thank you for all the detail.
Hi, do you know why after loading the backup the C1000 appliance is blocked that does not allow access or work with it or directly having a keyboard and screen connected to the computer?

Hi Herman, i saw you use the same signed CSR on all clearpass. Is there any prequsties i need to do before that? As i saw you use the SAN Dns: radius.arubalab.loc instead of individual clearpass IP address
@hermanrobers on my C2010s the TPM UEFI Option ROM Management is enabled before the upgrade and watching your guide is that of concern on my appliances or is it safe to leave enabled. Thanks, Chris
It probably is TPM Option ROM Measurement, which appears to be a security feature to ensure integrity of your Option ROM (internal component of the hardware). If it's enabled now, and there is no indication in the documentation to disable it, I suppose it should be safe to leave it enabled. If you are still unsure, it may be good to ask Aruba Support for authoritative guidance.
You might need to watch it again; USB aux ports should be turned off if it is unused, not the console. We suggest enabling AAA on the console. Regards, yash
@@hermanrobers I'm having issues. Can you make a video on performing EAP-TLS on the AP uplink using the TPM chip in AOS 10? I configured it in Aruba Central and rebooted the AP, but the AP seems to be timing out, not completing the EAP transaction, according to ClearPass Access Tracker.
why are you using the word core to describe the the spine layer in your l3 spine a leaf diagram, that is confusing. the word core is not appropriate to describe that layer in a spine/leaf architecture, core should be used to say you are interfacing with say the campus core from your border leaf.
I have my VS Code set up with python. I am using the 'Code Runner' extension to allow me to run my scripts by clicking on the 'play' icon at the top right of the window. I have configured the IDE to run scripts in the terminal. There is a drop down next to the play button and if I choose 'Run Python File' , output of the terminal looks correct. If I choose 'Run Code' I get lots of erroneous blank lines printed with output. Does anyone else get this? Does anyone have a fix?
