Non-duality is best for people who’ve had other deep spiritual practices, who’ve done serious work on their own mental health and trauma, who’ve balanced it with love, Metta, devotion, and service practices, and who have a high ethical standard. Skipping straight to non-duality without any of that other stuff will cause most people great harm.

Islam is not a blind faith! Maybe you didn’t read enough about it. I know also that logic and common sense is important, but you need a book as well for guidance and the logic to understand and question that book (faith). But completely rejecting faith and just build you beliefs on common sense alone knowing that our minds are limited and imperfect is bad too

Did I understand it right ? Everything is one in non duality but in dualism everything is seperate? I don't know anything yet my uncle talked about dualism a few weeks ago. Can dualism and non duality exist at the same time? Or is it that one of them must be true?
Isn't this just positive nihilism? Doesn't it remove all meaning from life? Who cares if i or any of my family and friends live or die it's all a dream after all? Success and failure? All the same. Isn't this escapism? That said ,I understand that non-dualism is true at least materially and technically speaking. But that doesn't change the fact that it feels empty and meaningless. Thoughts?
Aw - man. You're amazing, but I don't think of Jesus as "christ". The "Christ" is a consciousness that we all share and have. Jesus did establish it in his fullness, so I honor and appreciate him for that. But it's not named after him. At least for me .... Just wanted to share. you're doing amazing work.
True, BUT if you read some of the Mahayana's sutras in Buddhism, you will discovere that Buddha's cosmology view is actually wider than and beyond what the current scientists had discovered. In terms of spirit, it is correct that Buddhism does not agree that there is a permanent unchanged siprit, but Alaya (the 8th concious) is the actual mechenism of life transform, but Alaya is keep changing and not a permanant siprit (as it is a deep concious). As for God, Buddhism has a similar concept as Christinaity and Islamism, it is called Buddha Nature which is undescriable in human words and every single objects in the mutiverse regardless of space and time are all originated from the Buddha Nature. Thus, the God depicted in Christianity and Islamism has the similar nature of the Buddha Nature and may be they are referring to the same but with diference terms. The Buddhism has also not objected the Gods in Hinduism, and the God(s) in Hinduism could be the Heaven's beings or the Buddha Nature (like the later scriptures of Hinduism that mentioning a single supreme God)...
I’m a Buddhist. I did kindness meditation about half an hour for about a week every day. When I was just about to fall asleep I heard a calm voice very clearly saying do you know how much good karma it is. I didn’t know meditation is good karma and started thinking what I did.. I started researching and got to know the biggest good karma is kindness meditation.. if you do it about 20 minutes it is better karma than donating a mountain of food..so who ever discovering Buddhism I suggest you to do it.. just listen to a video spread your kindness to the universe.
We humans are stuck in our own loop. We are comfortable in our delusion. One of the reason that NDE people have more truth in their words compare to non NDE people. Because they undergone a transformation. Can non nde people can aware things. Nope. he can only imagine of being aware. Just a copy not the original and authentic. You can get into accident and loose both eyes... or drink as much ayahuasca without dying. its a poison. So body create temporary hallucinic state to keep you alive.
I wish I could try that but I live so isolated and don’t know anyone weird like me. Eye contact is intimate. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that with the same sex. It would have to be a man and someone kind.
Thank you for this video. I show traits of grandiose narcissism and it's something I've noticed just recently. It gets in the way of my spiritual path because I feel like I need people to see and respect my growth and me as a person in order to have the motivation for said thing. I can't be myself because I often define "me" only by how people see me and what they love even though it isn't always true. I create a fake personality that the person in front of me would like or at least only show the traits that seem like it would make the person like me. I constantly seek validation and have a need to be loved even though I know I don't need it. The fact that I see that it's wrong is a result of my spiritual path but I can't seem to overcome it. I hope this will help :D
I discovered you when I was a teenager. I was depressed and seeking what my purpose was and the truth . I got into Buddhism and then Hinduism and enlightenment and all these spiritual practices. You were an important teacher in my life and helped me through my spiritual journey but my journey only lead me to Jesus.
Is not our perception neither, however perceptive activity is what happens but again at an impersonal level. This simple message is a dagger to the personal self which is literally dreaming activity based on others opinions which r originated via a massive misinterpretation of what apparently happens all the apparent time. Word, apparent, means, real & unreal simultaneously but unfortunately the person or mask makes every single thing real, ergo, creating a personal suffering that can easily b avoided but unfortunately, is not. & still, it will b what is apparently happening at impersonal levels appearing as a person having events or activities happening to him or her. The cosmic joke.
so, non-dualism negates the, if this, then this, types of situations?? .. and since all is nothing and only the very present is something, we just move along, merrily, merrily, for life is nothing but a dream? but, what about all the very real, horrible suffering though? that certainly isn’t just a dream… it’s all the tears and tears, the trauma and the suffering that weighs on my soul like boulders … 😞🥺🥺what so many humans have been forced to endure, and all the animals too.. just wrecks me🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Non-duality is the perceived experience of the Saved/Enlightened/Mystic. Non-duality is our existence! It is Knowledge. Knowledge is perception. You know what you perceive. If you perceive the writing of some scripture, what you 'know' is that you read a particular book, you have no actual experience of (fill in the blank). See the difference? You can hear/read what other people say about non-duality, learn popular theories and vain imaginings, but you don't even know whether the writers/speakers had any real experience, or not. Experiencing non-duality, there cannot be any 'danger', any 'fear'. Danger and fear only exist in duality/ego/thought.
Nonduality has nothing to do with an absence of thoughts. Those are accepted as is everything. You claim that "it is only in the absence of all thoughts and differentiations that pure awareness, or, our non-dual nature, can be revealed to us". This is incorrect. Your nondual nature is available to you regardless of thoughts. If your thoughts are a problem then you're still sleeping.
