Fantastic video - would love to hear your thoughts on glutamate and osteoarthritis. Had a huge reaction to high glutamate foods. Memantine shown to help reduce NMDA receptors and help regulate calcium.

It might help with pain and inflammation. There is early evidence that naltrexone can help in inflammatory arthritis, none specific for AS. And none documenting preventing progression of disease.
The best way to cure Psoriasis is to use new UVB LED lamps. With LED technology it is possible to achieve the exact wavelength that cures Psoriasis. This is not achieved with fluorescent lamps. With the new LED lamps the dose is 1/100, there is no redness in the skin, there is no need to increase the dose gradually and to wait 2 months to see the skin cures. The skin cures in one week. You can get a refund if the lamp will not cure you Psoriasis after using the lamp 2 months.
I'm having left hand numbness and tingling, left shoulder blade very crunchy, stiff neck tilting to left side. I'm right handed and play Tennis for 40 years, both shoulders Ac Joint pain.
Get checked out by a msk specialized physician. They should evaluate your left shoulder and neck, and check the appropriate imaging studies and possibly emg study to determine the cause and severity driving your symptoms
Don’t just assume you are getting old if your hands hurt or foot pain is due to a weight gain. I made that mistake and though I did see a podiatrist we were treating just foot pain. I was on an DMARD so all of the body pain was being kept less painful. I ran out over a long weekend and boy oh boy.
Hii, I am from India. I am 33 year old I am having pain in fingers of hand for last 15 year. It is some time more and sometime less but pain is constant. The problem is that when you see a doctor for this stuff, they want to call it anything but Rhuematoid Aurthritus! If they do so, then you qualify for disability regardless of age and then they have to defend their postion in front of the SSI board. they really don't want to do that, so many of us never get the correct diagnosis and thus never get the correct treatment!
Thank you doctor. It's important for RA patients to understand that other illnesses can become active with RA. Could you please explain what causes muscle wasting, besides lack of excercise? Is the a specific autoimmune disease?
Perfect timing. I'm experiencing this. Had no idea until i got dry gangrene on the tip of my large toe. It started from a small bruise below the nail. Tests indicated that RA had narrowed 2 of 3 vessels that limits the amount of blood flow with oxygen. No diabetes. No plaque. No blockages. Only RA attacking. My toes must stay warm and I'm taking Nitric Oxide and L - Argatine
By me falling and hitting my head getting a C1 atlas misalignment and post concussion syndrome 2.5 years ago could this have caused an auto immune response within my body? I used to be a healthy 41 year old who lived in the gym and ate healthy and now having issues afterwards.
I woke up feeling like I was a cement statue in my fingers and feet area. I scheduled with a rheumatologist after I woke up. I'm hoping I don't have this 😢 it's been a few months, but it seems worse, and symptoms changed.
Excuse me Dr. I have this fatty portion on the upper portion on my right hand (palm region) due to me I'm assuming breaking my third metacarpal bone in my right hand it has since then healed but am wondering if i cause some sort of arthritis or tendon issues to it now when i place my hand down flat on a table or wall or floor etc.. it's quite sensitive as opposed to my left. 🤔
So I have constant pain in my left middle finger Metacarpophalangeal (MCP). It hurts so bad and is hard to grip anything and is actually starting to migrate to my Adjoining finger. My question is what doctor should I go see? I know rheumatoid arthritis Doctors are in high demand so I'm wondering if there's another doctor I should initially see or should I automatically get an appointment with a rheumatoid arthritis doctor.
See an experienced rheumatologist who can do a diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound during your visit to determine cause and give you a treatment plan.
Thank you for providing the explanations. QUESTION: Are there any reasons why a person with RA should not receive this procedure? Could a person with OsteoPena and bone weakness from long time use of prednisone?
