I'm just your average older gym rat. Been doing the gym thing for over 20 years. Now its about maintaining health and keeping the young guns healthy. We did a lot of dumb things in the 90's and its now my job to make sure these guys don't do them.
As far as channel direction... right now there is none. I'm doing vlogging, comedy, information, product reviews, some drug talk but I'm open to suggestions
Doing some mental torture on myself. I had this done in 2015 or 17 (can't remember). I was supposed to have it done again yesterday but Dr changed his mind after getting my CT scan back and found two stones in my kidneys causing the blood. Decided to wait on the Cystoscopy. I think your first time is easier because you don't know what to expect. Once you know how painful this procedure is, it's a way worse head game in the days leading up to it. I was on 2 Xanax and some "herbal" help and wasn't doing a thing for my anxiety. I feel for each and every guy that has to go through this. But it's VERY IMPORTANT that you do if the DR. is requesting it. Could mean your life. Also know every person has different pain levels. I don't discount the ones that say it wasn't that bad but please don't think less of guy's that say it was the worst pain they've ever had to go through. For me, mine was very comparable to this guys reaction. Maybe a little worse. My exam was longer than his. About 5 minutes. I just wanted it out and to end so bad. NEVER EVER want to go through that again. I'll pass 100 kidney stones over having to have that scope in me again. It pisses you off when they say just relax. There is NO F'n WAY TO RELAX through that !!! Not even with Xanax or Valium.
I was getting tired of it being stuck all the time and I drilled a hole and used a wire to loosen my gears. I appreciate this man I appreciate this man I left the disconnected and it works just fine until I get it fixed properly
Thanks for the insights. My wife was encountering this problem intermittently on her 2005 FX4, never uses cruise control, no kids to worry about, so I just unbolted the actuator and saved $250. Not the perfect fix for everyone but it works for us.
I have to have this done. No bloody way they are going to do this without anesthesia. I not long came out of the hospital due to a huge heart attack. I cannot go through that anxiety because of the condition of my heart. I’m glad I watched this. Bloody hell. Why is it when I have colonoscopies they give you anesthesia but not this procedure? Doctors? They are masters of torture!!
It's not that bad, don't be scared. They usually put lubricant with anesthesia, not an injection. They don't sedate you like in a colonoscopy because it's very very similar to a common bladder catheterization. It's not fun, but you have to try to relax as much as posible through the procedure.
@@seagullvictim7563 lol it's not comfortable but I'm sure you can handle the stretching of the puss hole. Yeah I hated it but I've had worse done to me.
@@JuicedMoose I never had anything that compares. And just see too many people go through all this and get no answers or help. Ty though. I am horrified.
Thank you for sharing your video! I had the exact same issue on my 2005 F150 FX4, ordered the part ($250 on Amazon) and was able to successfully repair. Thanks again dude! 😎👍
Ugh.....that dreadful cystoscopy!!!! I get chills just remembering it!!! I wasn't lying down i was in a special chair with stirrups!!! Like a woman about to give birth!!! numbing stuff wears off fast with me too!!! Yes it hurts and you feel like you gotta pee! My dr was like look I've got some great pics!! Im like man get this thing out of me!!! It stings for about 3 days after!!
I think back to my youth. We loved to roll my aunts 76 bug down the driveway. We did same in my mons old dodge. My first car was a stick. My jeep is a stick and I can keep my 2 year old and my 10 year old out of it. It's some kind of fort for them and their friends. I don't know how but they've never pushed clutch or knock it out of gear. 60s n 70s cars well 75 up did do locks I think. I think your over thinking things. I'm from 80s we rode in the bed we didn't wear helmets and today we baby kids too much. If my jeep ends up in the street I'll let ya know.
@@JuicedMoose the protein powder. It's maltodextin with like 6% dried milk powder. Was tested. Place is out of stock now. People getting refunds all over since it's a scam now unfortunately. :(
"Weighing in" here, my point of view on the product. I thoroughly enjoy a smoothie made from this peanut butter. I'm sure there's a better peanut butter our there. -I just haven't found it. But it has to be oil-on-top and unsalted. The smoothie seriously helps curb my sugar craving too. Making it with warm or hot water seems to help "bring out" the natural peanut sweetness, so consuming it warm. Salted seems to compromise that inherent peanut sweetness. Just water, Adam's peanut butter, and unflavored protein powder. I pour the oil off and save it for other kitchen projects. The slightly reduced amount of oil just seems to work out better, flavor-wise, for the smoothies. So save the oil, and have a more dense peanut butter to work with.
If ever people (at least here in the States) were inside-the-box (it has to be spreadable, boosted with sugar and other stuff)on any particular food, it's peanut butter. At least the 20th century was brave enough to do candy and then milkshakes with it. Travel abroad and you'll see people seriously "doing justice" to the mighty, simple peanut. So "bravo! Adams!" to holding their ground on no nonsense unnecessary "concocting" to "make" peanut butter!! This is the real deal, keeping it simple.
I've used it in shakes for extra calories. I like it cold but your ideas are interesting. The main reason I mix it is because the end or bottom of jar is hard and not appealing to me. Also when in a Keto diet it cuts back my sugar cravings too. Thx
Probably need a new switch. Be ready for the price. Eventually it will fail, and you'll have to leave the plastic loose, repair, or try to repair the switch, or try to leave it disconnected from shifter but plugged in. I have a repair well actually replacement video.
I drilled a hole in my center console; use an allen wrench to depress the white safety release tab to put into gear. Gear selection light does not work, but cruise control does
Drilling a hole to press the white button seems pretty damn extreme. I would have left the plastic lose and used both hands. I did it for a year. Drilling a hole to push the button also should not affect lights or anything. I don't understand. Keep in mind there are other videos of taking the switch apart and fixing it. I have a video of the repair and a possible idea of leaving it unattached.
Making his eyes roll back as he immerses in bliss, it's a mind-blowing experience, I did what I mentioned last week and now he can’t have enough, I learned the exact techniques by go’ogling Jevie Hindlerg’s Mastery and the I feel the power lol.
I hate to admit this but I've had this done twice and the dr doesn't know why I bleed from dick. I just accepted it. I think I passed a small stone one night other times I pee pink lemonade for no reason.
Just did this job on my fathers '94....... those steering columns have to be one of the worst things about the YJs. GM built with weak plastic internals with too many joints, moving parts, and points that could breach. So poorly designed and poorly built in my opinion. THx for the video,,
100% agree and don't forget the collum is super easy to break open and start with a screwdriver. I used to fix these in a body shop back in the 90's but I still had a hard time remembering where everything went. Thx for watching.
IT IS a SAFETY SWITCH. If someone has a child in the vehicle... SMH I would blame you for recommending not to replace it. It is there for a reason, come on.
Don't post stupid shit on my feed. If you watched it, you see I did spend the 250 to replace it. These trucks are old asf and most don't want to spend that, so I gave options. Get out the fuck out with your nonsense post, you don't need it if you don't want to spend 300 bucks, because thats the current price. Stupid keyboard warriors I swear.
@@CHN-fh2sn Yeah probably so what? but I don't need soy boy's crying about kids. This shifter lock out stuff did not exist when I was a kid and we all turned out just fine. But hey it's a free country so say what ya want. I do.
New ownership, did they change the product? Who knows. I've been using Protein factory for a bit now. Taste like poo but I don't care about taste as much as gains.
I purchased this isolate but im not sure this thing is what it says, the lack of comunication towards the consumer by the manufacturers, the fact the texture doesn't feel like the rest of isolated protein i've taken before and the lack of powerful smelling farts I always get from pure protein, are just some things makes me doubt, I wish more information about this brand be more available cause nobody knows, i see a zillion people reviwing it as great, but I believe is mostly by the flavor and not because its hability to create new muscle fibers, a third party lab test would be a great eye opener to all of us doubters here, just my opinion.
The orginal owner is gone so not sure what's going on. Lately I've been using protein factory. Quality yes taste awful. Something like ghost taste good but 3lbs of protein 1 lbs of flavoring so I'll stick to what taste bad. I'll have to buy more of that brand isolate and see if new company ruined it.
Does your cruise control still work with actuator hanging loose? I have opposite issues with my 2004. The gear shift moves without pushing brake and CC no longer works.
I paid the 250 bucks or whatever the part cost at Oriley's and fixed it. Some people have taken them apart and soldered the broken wires. If you left it hanging it would shift out of park, but I don't see what this has to do with CC to be honest. This switch is just a safety thing. You have to have foot on brake to move the shifter. If it's just hanging your OD cut off and your lights should all still work. But I'm not 100% sure. Most people with a truck this old don't want to spend 250 bucks for the switch. If your gear shifter moves without the brake pressed your switch might be stuck in the unlock position. Nere seen this. The CC might be something else entirely.
Pulling the fuse to stop wipers is a pain. Obviously the motors good. I would think there is a short in the switch. I don't believe there is a wiper relay. Change switch is my guess. Something is grounded and making motor run
its still loose in the hole. The hole is two different switch positions. driveing me nuts. or I am completely wrong. wipers still wont shut off. a broken wire in a perfectly clean black box.what color is the wipers wire?
THANKS i AM GLAD YOU FOUND ME.I can turn signal stock an screw with the ; turn signal combination lever and the wipers stop for a little while, and then something times ot and the wippers start up again. some times is /they stop for a while then wne I get to where I am going and st art the car the wipers go on again; if T pit the stock in between the indicator marks it stay that way a little longer . S when I start the car the wipers start up again and then I have to screw around with ithe indicators posining on the turn signal compination lever. It seems to be half way in the middle and then I lasts a while. I put a p/n SWA 41768 and it seems like its worn out, from me changing it it clicks a lot. @@JuicedMoose my records say I put that new one in 5 6 years ago, They are selling for 25$ a new turn signal stock ; turn signal combination lever. I should buy the 25 $ new one and saert up the car and ce if the wipers come on again, www.1AAuto. com Ralph frayed wire still in the insulation;
hold brake and push button with left hand shift with right hand to get it to move. I have a video on the repair or hack. The comments on that video has other ideas as well.
I never tried the egg so I can't speak to that one. Most egg does foam after mixing it. I only blend egg protein in a smoothie if I was going to use it.
You're right you really technically don't need the actuator, BUT. You're cruise control won't work without the actuator and the actuator has to be a working good one in order for cruise control to work. Otherwise there is a safety feature that will disable cruise control if the actuator has gone bad, because cruise control can't recognize what gear you're in. It uses the actuator. Anyways, up to whoever whether they want to spend the $300 bucks or not. It's also a bit safer to have a working actuator but not necessary. I've been driving my truck around for 5 years now without one lol. But RIP cruise control which kind of sucks ain't going to lie.
It's for SAFTY all cars need to have brake depressed before shifting out of "PARK" ( I have the same problem and have been driving around for years) Dumb for me! just have to make that purchase online to get this FIX! :)
Hey - You're the man! Thanks! My '08 is at a point where just letting it lay to the side will work fine for me in the short run. Maybe long-term. Who knows? Great, helpful video!
