I had a former NTM flyer instruct me in the 185. He was truly a master at his craft and an excellent teacher.

I used to do that in the Central African Republic and on takeoff I prayed my engine did not even skip a beat...!!! I did 50 hr inspections every 25 hrs and 100 hr inspections every 50 hrs... on the engine, not airframe... it got its usual...!!!

Great work. I used to deliver C180's, 185's and 188's from Wichita to all over. I miss that fun job.

Draw near to The Lord and He will draw near to you. Don't think my Cherokee 140 could do that. There are easier ways to get close to God (:)).

That is so neat , i learnt in an 1954 c.170. When i first flew an 185 , absolutely loved the grunt. I would love to spend time sitting in the right hand seat while you flew into these places.

Yea the big contis are cool , not so keen on the small ones like 0200 , 0300. In fact the lyc 0235 really makes the 0200 look so old. Also like lyc io540
