I’d have a SIGNAL GENERATOR installed on that air station so I could navigate through all that nasty cloud stuff...!!!

I used to do that in the Central African Republic and on takeoff I prayed my engine did not even skip a beat...!!! I did 50 hr inspections every 25 hrs and 100 hr inspections every 50 hrs... on the engine,not airframe... it got its usual...!!!

That is so neat , i learnt in an 1954 c.170. When i first flew an 185 , absolutely loved the grunt. I would love to spend time sitting in the right hand seat while you flew into these places.
