In case anyone is wondering use the standard 15:1 ratio for water to coffee 15ml (0.5oz) water to each gram of coffee. So (13.5oz) 400ml water needs 27g (0.95 oz) coffee 400/15 = 26. I used a medium roast I ground it to medium-fine grind it was good just a tiny bit bitter. I may dial it up more to medium to speed up the brewing since too fine means too long of a brew and it gets bitter.

Dang. The best video ever for a guy who has to get up and make a nice cup of coffee before going to work. I had to go through a million videos to find something simple and straight forward. I want one cup and don't need a dang scale.
The ceramic/porcelain one may be leeching lead or some other dangerous chemicals, I stopped using it and felt better and tests came clean after months of suffering from stomach pain and hypocalcemia.

Didn’t even rinse that filter! I just bought the signature series pour over form Target. My first pour over system! Really excited to use it. Just need a digital scale, thermometer, kettle and probably a grinder. It’s exciting and I’m sure more enjoyable than purchasing a coffee or making it wig our Kurig. Kurig is great but nothing like this
