What do you think about the break ? occasionally when I stepped on it the car keeps going. I have to step hard to make it stopped. Sometimes I feel like the car break is defective Delilah
Hi, thanks so much for sharing all your information and your journey. I just purchased 04-20-2024 a 2024 EQE 350+ SUV the dealer did not charge The car took delivery with it at about 21% battery went to electrify America. It started charging at about 173 kWh, but then quickly dropped in about three minutes only about 40 kWh. I guess I did not pre-condition the battery is there any advice on how to start a precondition on the way to the charging station I actually couldn't find out how to select the charging station I was going to because all the charging stations in the car navigation just show half baked addresses, I knew the address but couldn't figure out how to select the exact charging station I was going to thanks
Congrats on the purchase. To precondition, go to EQ (top left corner), then “charging”, then HVAC bat. Pre-temp control. Mine’s set to automatic. For charging stations, I go EQ, then “route”, then “charging stations”. You can filter by kilowatts. Hope this helps.
Not yet. Mercedes is supposed to release adapters this year. There’s limiting software at Tesla superchargers that’ll prevent you from using 3rd party adapters.
@@mailaandjames OK, thanks again for your quick reply. Appreciate it very much down here in South Florida the electrify America chargers are getting really bad reviews. I don’t know for sure because I do not have an EQ as of yet.
Hi, thanks for sharing. I am considering getting an EQE SUV. Do you have any advice or opinions regarding liability? Do you recommend the car any drawbacks and can you charge at any Tesla charger or only certain chargers thanks.
We’ve had the car for 10-11 months now and no issues at all. I just wish there’s on/off or lock/unlock just like Tesla/Rivian/Lucid. Mercedes is supposed to start using Tesla superchargers this year using an adapter. At this time, there are very minimal Tesla chargers that has Magic dock. MB gets 2 years free charging for 30 mins in Electrify America. I was also looking at the EQE500 SUV. 2024 Model comes standard with hyperscreen for the 500s.
My EQS came with two years of free charging at Electrify America so I don’t think I would want to pay at a Magic Dock when I can charge for free at EA. That benefit will expire in June and I hope that Mercedes will offer a Tesla adapter soon after that. When they do it should be plug and charge, so no need to use an app.
Thanks for the tips guys! We’re planning on going to El Nido end of July, beginning August. I looked up Seda Lio but for 5 of us, they wouldn’t allow more than 2 people per room. The resort looks nice! Perhaps we can stay here when it’s just my husband and I.
Here’s the guy who gave us our room package and recommended tour guides. KEITH ARCHES| Reservations Officer Seda Lio - Manila Sales Office 3rd Floor. @@jenniferoneal1538 I have an EQS, not an EQB, so I don't know for sure how it works on the EQB. In my car, the setting for automatic preconditioning is on the charging screen. Select the EQ menu, then the charging tab at the bottom of that menu. There's a button to turn on automatic preconditioning. There's no way to manually precondition. Remember that for the car to precondition, you have to have navigated to the charging station using the car's built-in navigation system. Not apple maps or CarPlay. The car has to know you are heading to a charger. It will determine if the battery needs warmed up or cooled down and will do it automatically.
@@mailaandjames I cannot wait for NACS either. The Montrose, CO magic docks were in the same parking lot as two ChargePoint DCFC's. However, one of those was off-line and the other had a Leaf charging to 100% with no owner in sight. So, the Tesla magic docks really saved me that afternoon.
Sure did..learned that the Replica's are just as good.. 99% of us are not Rich and can afford over $400 to put something on your wrist to show off... Thanks for nkuwan
Can’t wait since Tesla’s charging structure is very reliable. I guess they’ll all be using “lightning cable” soon…lol, while iPhone is the one going USB-C 😂
Doesn't that suck though? You can't coast on the highway. Your foot has to constantly apply pressure to the accelerator? I know you can use cruise control. That HAS to be annoying.
