I hear u bro the problem is the government bite more than they can chew to fulfill their manifest but Rome wasn't built in a day get proper engineering companies from North America or Europe and get better results not any Joe flunce or Joe blow and the grave yard is beyond belief they would make good Hollywood Horror movie without having to spend any money on staging it
Agree with u about the substandard work that's being done in the fastest growing economy & the president talking every day about all the roads guyanese getting... On the cemetery not being kept clean bro the government should take a bill to parliament seeking to make burial a thing of the past...the land is for the living not the dead...covid teaches us that burial of the dead would eventually become a thing of the past...
No clause are written into the contracts.Sidewalks/pavement are not build. In 6th Diamond housing their is no sidewalk/pavement for citizens to walk on,from 6th Street you can enter unto the highway,which makes even worse for the residents of that Street. When the rain fall's the Street floods which was only redone last year. I am happy for my fellow Guyanese to get the contracts. Accountable is a time of the pass in Guyana which is very sad.
Most, Guyanese people, are foreign minded. If you notice that it is the same reason why they support foreign artists more than they support local artists. That will probably take generations before that changes, the old generations of Guyanese would have to die out and maybe the new generation will start to support own, more.
Some of you, Guyanese people, are sick people because you’ll are complaining about Guyanese contractors getting the work. Some of you’ll would prefer foreigners and foreign contractors getting the work and contract. Tell me what is wrong with Guyanese contractors being given a chance to do those projects to develop their skills level and gain experience instead of some foreign contractors doing projects. There are paying taxes, plus some of that oil money is part of their of their inheritance, so why should they be left out of benefiting from their own taxes and oil money. Chinese contractors rehabilitated the CJIA airport and look how many issues they are having there.
The local contractor build crappie road because the relevant authorities allow it. Then millions have to be spend a year after to redo that same road, and the cycle continues taxes being use in a circle and its called development.
So how to you build local expertise? Three years in and this government is building roads, schools, hospitals, water management systems and much, much more. Some people only look for deficiencies to bash the government. When their government was in power in 2015-2020, NOTHING was built, only incompetence, theft and corruption!
This man isn't a favorite but he is human and using him as their puppet all these yrs is ridiculous. Let him rest and live out the rest of his life quietly. This is abuse in my opinion..
