Good entertaining video loved the sledgehammer action! Haha and the aerial shots. Just thinking what would make this canopy better potentially was if it was longer ahead in the front as well in order to keep the shade better over your legs entirely (I saw in one of your clips in your video that the hot sun was resting right over your lap and even arms) and that might lead to sunburns overtime right? haha probably fine just a observation and personal preference I guess

Yikes. When the two lads jump on one side and he kept going they put themselves in the crush zone and the risk was 50/50 same as what just happened but rolling the opposite way. That was so dangerous, at least drop the load to 1" off the ground. Also lower the rear counter weight, this obviously was over looked.

Dealerships make all the difference. When growing up, my grandparents were farmers in North Texas and we make lots of trips to visit them from Colorado. Just about everyone in their community had Case tractors with a few Fords and John Deeres sprinkled in, but largely Case. Where I grew up in Colorado, John Deere and International Harvester were the prevalent tractor brands. In Texas, it wasn't because Case was the superior or cheapest tractor available, it was because the dealership went above and beyond to make sure his customers were taken care of. Same thing where I grew up, the dealerships were what drove people's purchases. Now, in this case, since he didn't buy from the local dealership, it is understandable that the dealer was going to charge for service and assessment -- However, JCB should stand behind the product if this was a defect and take care of all costs associated with getting it repaired.

With a hydraulic top link those would work really nice on the 3 point which has more lift capacity than my loader.

I farm in some pretty good hills. I just got a 4630 john deere and I was using it for the first time chisel plowing. I had the fornt end come off the ground about a foot. That made me a little nervous. I've been driving tractors since I was 8 years old. I started off with b john deeres. You always have to think before you do something. I'm currently 55 years old and spent 12 years in the Army as a paratrooper.

That is to be expected with a tractor that the engine is in the front if you want perfect vision buy yourself a forklift but if you need to see what you were doing with your forks on your tractor install a camera up there then all is well. Just a simple camera like people who go camping a lot and pull trailers have a camera so they can back up to the trailer hitch you can do the same on your pallet forks mount a camera up high to where it will be protected but it will always give you a view of what you are doing with your forks down low.

I run a APP 5 shank 60”. It’s a 66”, 7 shank I dropped 2 shanks off. In the right conditions, it’s an unbelievable tool. I’m the wrong, it is less than ideal. Chisel plows, at least this size, hate thatch. Cut the field short (the field in this video was fine there), burn the vegetation with gly, let it be at a minimum of 2 weeks. That little chisel will turn your field deep, one pass. Your times were just too far apart, the vegetation was just a bit too “green”. I made the same mistake using it last year. About put it on marketplace. Spoke with a farmer who chisels large scale…he gave me those tips (above)…I would t trade the thing for the world now. You also needed the soil a little bit less moist. Don’t be discouraged, this is a great tool. Just need a few tweaks. I’d say 8hp per shank is a bit closer to the need though. Great tool.

The guy with the chains toward the 10 min mark, he was directly in the cross fire and would have been killed instantly if one of those chains had broke, wow. One of the dumbest things I've seen in a while, I'm amazed people get away with some of the things I see videos on and then laugh about it like the idiot on the first video. You getting killed by your own sheer stupidity is not funny, not in the least. Go smoke some more meth Cletus.

Thank you for another important video on tractor safety. Please listen to this 6 decades of experience: especially if you have a loader, but all attachments also, the lowest you can safely operate the bucket/attachment, the better! Keep it as close to the ground as possible!! Another point you made, go as slow as you reasonably can operate.Trying to gain a few seconds by going faster can cost you your life.

I never ever spec for landscape projects or buy tractors (of any size) with front end loaders... They all too easily can catch out the operator... Best to always use a forklift, wheeled loader or a backhoe loader for front end lifting & loading duties.

Tractor tires don’t last that long and it sucks when you gotta change a tire with that crap in it plus it’s too damn expensive You can have a spare tire in the barn for the price of that stuff and no mess for the new tire

Interesting video. Thanks. Years ago I was in New Zealand helping a farmer clean up trees after a storm. I was operating a Ford 5000 on slopes I was uncomfortable to be on. I discussed this with my friend and his advice was when you can’t stay on the seat it’s time to get off. Coming from Australia I could not believe where these guys would take a tractor and I was surprised to learn where the limits truly are.

I am a seat belt ROPS survivor, while bushhogging on a hill side a rock started the slow roll. Just as I was warned I wanted to leave the tractor in the wrong direction but the belt stopped me to tuck my limbs back by the seat and finish the roll to the side. Unsnapping the belt dropped me out of the seat to climb back up and walk to my neighbor's home with only my pride injured. It was a Friday evening with folks hanging out together by their trucks. I told my buddy I needed help getting my tractor up righted the stories I heard while neighbors helped me, they all new someone who died while using a tractor. ROPS isn't enough and useless without wearing the seatbelt!

Dude it’s like this video made them redesign. All they advertise in this size group now is an upgraded telescopic version. They even have a pretty unique integration I usually don’t like the telescopics cause they look flimsy even if they lift more. I just got a bumper pull Lamar 7x16x2(box size)and I’m very happy with it for the price, 12,300$ I would of got a gooseneck but for my price range(paying cash) I was actually gonna lose overall weight capacity on the dual 7k axle Lamar gooseneck cause of how heavy the trailer was. That diamond c is nice though my friend!!!

Glad to hear it. I decided to keep the trailer and am pretty careful with how I load it now. I like it overall except for that issue.

First segment, lift that engine from the back of the bucket, there's plenty of room there and the weight can't exert as much leverage on that little tractor, ground is level, that's good, don't lift the engine so high since they are not moving it very far, yes, lower the 3 point, realize the limitations of your machine, that's probably the biggest mistake they made. I've been on a farm for 75 years now, still have all my appendages.

Interesting comments about the BrushCrusher. I bought a BC-4215 (from you!) a few years ago, and it's done an OK job. I have a few gripes with it, and recently it even bent so it doesn't align like it should, but overall it's worked pretty well for me. I wish I'd have gone with a hydraulic grapple and installed the front hydraulics, but (like you said) the BC was much more economical back then, vs. the alternative. I do wish I could make the change now, but it would just cost too much. I guess there's something to be said for getting what you really want the first time - "buy once, cry once!"

Not every piece of equipment jives with every landowner. I own this tractor and love it. I have mowed grass, cleared rough fields, cleared small tree stands, raked weeds and pine needles, moved a household of boxes and furniture, dug numerous water mains, dug stumps, yanked truck engines, cleared snow, pulled trucks from ditches, loaded and unloaded machinery, and built driveways. This is at home. I liked it so much I had the school I work at purchase one to replace a Toolcat and a zero turn. Now we have one of the best grass high school football fields in western Montana. We have saved thousands on digging and hours pushing snow, spraying herbicide, fertilizing, and grading. 5 acres of grounds with this machine working Monday through Friday in the summer and snow dependent during the winter. Again, some equipment doesn't mesh with an owners operation style, but credit where due, this tractor will work for most everyone who needs a multitool of a tractor but don't farm. Edit: I bet It'll small farm just fine too.😂
