I think it has to be said and acknowledge, the guy who played the original Guy Blank was one hell of a actor and out classed Dan Hedya, a way more accomplished actor in the same role? You can't have Guy Blank without the shocked face or none of the best jokes work with him
This was one of the top scenes in the series but my favorite is the lunchroom scene with Tamela, when they have to partner in class to raise the baby (Desi?). 🤣.
So two things about this movie makes me laugh: 1) my moms cat had babies, I kept one and named him Clovis (obviously cause I love this movie). 2) my husband’s name is Charles but he loves Clovis
3:28 If that was Laurence instead of Brian It would be test patterns he would be looking at. A sideshow of them. Clovis wouldnt be the trigger STATIC WOULD
I just watched the movie after watching all 3 seasons of the show for the first time. While the movie wasn’t bad, it was waaaaaay below the quality of the show. And the movie was somehow tamer than the show, I was surprised at that.
Well movies are aimed at larger audiences, and the goal is to get people to buy tickets to increase box office revenue. Opposed to a tv show where a group of committed fans tune in every week for ratings. And strangers with candy did not have a large viewership while it was on the air. Makes sense why they dialed things down even though it was not as good as the tv show. I still enjoyed the movie
As no one has said, animated tv show from the 90's called The Critic. It was created by some former Simpsons staff, and they gave it a cameo in that episode where they do the film festival. It is taking the piss out of the movie Wolf, which starred Jack Nicholson.
