Thanks for these videos!! I’ve loved rollerblading for years and year and recently have been seeing these videos. I feel like this style isn’t popular in the usa
@@corvopatins yeah, two names for that trick. The toe footgun was common and probably the first created name in 2008 or 2009 when Igor was doing it. The same was for Vincent in 2005 or 6. As it was the usual footgun, so on toe its toe footgun :) But later I heard Corvo and Toe Footgun. Interesting, who gave that name to the trick. Do you know?
@@Inmoveskates There is a big mistake, I created this figure in 2005 and when Skali was in Brazil in 2010 he posted it on his channel, in a short time Igor made a video, I talked to Igor about it and it was clear that he saw the maneuver on the kompakombo website... the dates you pasted there about other skaters are fake, figure created by ROBSON CORVO from Brazil 👍
@@corvopatins some skaters name it differently as well according to if the heel touches the back or not. Anyway, in different countries there are different names even for the other trick names as well. It depends who you learnt from :)
@@senpaisproperty8548 looks like everything is well with knees. Slalom probably better than jumps for the knees. At least at 31 yo are okay :) Of course, to be warm and some stretching helps as well
The fit is different in skates where the liner is integrated(Spin, Igor etc.) and where is not(FRX, FR1 etc.). Also, FR Skates has different size charts for FR1/FRX and Spin/Igor.
@@Inmoveskates thank you very much for your answer! I am learning how to skate (specially slalom) with you. Started late may with this playlist and I am now at lesson number 7! 😀 Please keep uploading.
These frames are the absolute best, but they're my first pair of hardboot skates, and I'm enjoying them for sure. They're actually pretty manoeuvrable in tight spaces. Ofc the wheels are 90 mm, but I use them for city skating, in both quiet and very busy environments. A slight rocker on your wheels makes manoeuvring easier. I've found that you can rocker the wheels simply by using them. Back wheels especially wear down quickly, so they'll become smaller over time. If you rotate your wheels to have the ones that are most worn down in the front and back, you'll get a slight rocker with noticeable turning improvements. Overall decent skate, would recommend if you're looking for a 4 wheel frame that's fast and agile
I'm loving Alex's tutorials and practicing his techniques. I'm VERY interested to know what his skate setup is. Alex can you tell us? Are you in Miami? You have a shop there? I'm about 6 hours drive from there, may need to visit your shop.
Hey! FR Igor with 4x76mm rockered frame. My family lives in Naples FL, so I’m visiting often. The shop is only online with a small warehouses where we ship from. And living in Krakow :)
You may like strong hubs just in case (usually freeride/urban, slalom wheels, but mostly branded fitness wheels are good as well). And Polyurethane hardness 83A - 88A - usually (not always), this are well in case of durability (last longer on asphalt than fitness wheels with hardness 78-82A). Anyway, the most common wheels(that you won't regret with many styles of skating) would be something like Hyper Concrete+g 84A, FR Street Invader 84A, Undercover 86A/88A, and Rollerblade Hydrogen 85A. They are all bound well, hardness is what is needed and in the end are durable and have nice hubs.
Thanks a lot for your perfect and really helpful review and presentation. Also, I don't know if you are american, but being french and non fluent in english, I understood everything you said, your english is really clear and really nice for non native english speakers !! This boot will be my next choice for my new marathon long distance pair of skates. With Eos Carbon frame it will be perfect. Thanks again
What is the name of the last section, where you kind of moving backwards with crossed legs? I can't remember the name somehow and therefore can't look up for a tutorial :(.
Thinking about it. Will be uploading step by step at a comfortable speed, but once I feel motivated, I will post more often :) Started from short reviews of the products and some insta360 skating as for now. Thank you for commenting!
@@enockcaroline2090 thank you for your words. Yeah, I like Fun Slalom moves more as well cause it’s more creativity and it can bring interest into some simple classic moves (like doing crazy(or grapevine) not on cones, but between cones).
