I love my country Philippines as well. I am currently here in Europe under working visa but honestly my heart is longing for my nation and the people. As an overseas filipino worker, we seek greener pasture to earn good money and to fulfill our professional goals thats why we left. If only I am well compensated, i have never crossed thousand miles and be far from my parents and siblings.
I was born in Seychelles travel to many countries in Africa, Europe and Asia, if one day someone asks me which country you want to live apart from Seychelles, it will be Philippines, means Philippines first then Seychelles like 9 months in PH 3 months in Seychelles.
The sad moment is they cant own a 100% property here maybe in some ways foreigner they can buy small area of land or house, politics always the problem here.

Been around the world for 23 years due to the nature of my job, living 2-4 years from one country to another from Florida, Cheshire, Ecuador, Spain, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore -- I can proudly say that here in the Philippines is where I found peace and prosperity. BTW I am living now in Oc. Mindoro, bought a land for farming and now introducing aqua culture to the small community. Bought a land in Davao to start a small beach resort and invested on condominium units in Pasay to pay off all my expenses on those projects I have started. You will find it incredible for us foreigners to invest and register a legal business here in the Philippines for such a small capital and less paper works. You cannot do that especially in the US and EU countries.
Well, Sweden have very little sunlight in the winter and it is really cold. As a Swede myself I feel like people are much happier when it's warmer climate.
