I host music jams (not open mics). I put together the host band then jammers come in, sign up, and get up on stage with a rhythm section and other jammers. I have been doing this for 16 years as of July 2024. Presently in Austin, Tx.
I wish i wouldn't have played so many high notes while I was backing/rhythm, and stayed in lower or middle register to give the lead more space. But that's why it's a jam, and I'm still learning.
I played a solo! 24 whole bars! Mike Milligan gave me the first solo, I'm so proud and I didn't screw up a single note. I guess I am learning something at these blues jams,. Thank you breck English and to the silver alert Band and all the jammers.
It was his first time at my jam. Young guy was "a little too eager" to play which made me suspect what he might do. Not particularly in the groove and too "busy" banging around. I replaced him after 2d song. He won't play again.
please take this down, I do not want to be associated with the guy Jeff, in the red hat, who assaulted me at your jam. You continued to have him and I will not be seen with him.
