nice repair that helps to save the enviroment ... but this India style plug is as dangerous as USA/Japan plugs ... 220V & 350 Watte are absolutely OK with a real Europlug (max 2.5 Ampere = 550W at 220V) with partially insulated contacts
Repair is very important, it reduces usage of materials, ammount of toxic waste & use of energy ... Yes, as seen in this video shorted capacitors (but in most cases cylindircal electrolytics) destroy transistors & rersistors, also charred parts bords are a big short circuit & must be removed as shown ( or the entire bord scrapped), you let it smoke for far to long ... Omg of course wait until it heavily smokes (the ortange glow was already a sign of a short circit) ... you (again) defeat protective earth at 0:05 ( = electrocution risk), this is a Class-1 device (metal chassis) that needs protective Earth, this this German ( & Korean) Schuko-plug is earthed ( = the recessed side contacts of this yellowed grey plug) & requires an earthed recessed Schuko-outlet (Germany & Korea) ... the "60Hz" at 0:28 shows this device was made for South-Korea (North-Korea has 50Hz like Germany & former Soviet Republics) & of course Korean letters confirm it ... P.S. German plugs in a German outlet are much saver than USA/Japan plugs & outlets ( = I got never shocked in 230V ( + 400V) Germany)
Your work ( = repair) saves the enviroment much more than this Kyoto "climate"-agenda ever could ... illegal electrical adapter adapter at 3:08 (left side), it defeats protective earth (that is connected to the metal chassis) = electrocution risk ... oh Japanese high quality Nippon-Chemicon Capacitors at 4:53 ... Omg, 3x Chinese "universal" death-dapter ( = deadly plug adapters) at 40:03 (orange 3 pole, black earth defeat & colorful power bar) ...

Wonder what happened to that appliance in the past to fry multiple power-control MOSFETS and also popped the Fuse... I guessing short-circuit caused by cockroach infestation. (all that 'dirt'? yeah... not dirt.)

An easier, albeit more expensive, way at least for the inside is to seal up the holes and fill the inside with Evapo Rust solvent and let it soak overnight. It dissolves all the rust and ensures that all the rust is gone. You might not get all the deeper rust that tends to happen in the bed of the wheel barrow with just a grinder pad.
Capisitor not easy to blow ...have a + and - polirity - it will blow when reciving over voltage or short polirity .the issue is how can so easy change the capisitor ..than the prob is solve .only magician can do this ... iam notice that at the first disasambles capisitor behind the relay is in good how can sunddenly blow .
What happened to the large new blue component that you added to the motherboard.When you reassembled it,it was gone.What looks like the original black one was in its place?
Вобще мыть можно спокойно, тем более есть загрязнения которые растворителями не вымываются, после мытья плату нужно хорошо просушить или промыть раствором абсорбирующим влагу. Но то что он тут исполняет это угар, на похер выпаивает элементы, чето в плату тыкает непонятным паяльником, тут скорее всего чел просто задом наперед снимает реставрацию. Тем более он ее так помыл что она все равно сгниет + видно что многие дорожки посгнивали.
Wow, we have a magician, anybody noticed the capacitor on the side of the relay of the start of the video that was blown up, and when he disassembles the equipment for the first time the capacitor is ok?, what???, and i'm not even talking about the capacitor being a different color and brand
