It is a pity there is no large wall mirror over the vanity in the bedroom, as we had on the Whisper, and it looks like this ship also does not have electrical outlets near mirrors so that one can see what one is doing while drying one's hair!
I hope this entertainmnt in not on my upcoming Alaska Cruise at the end of the month on Crystal. Like being stuck in a bad wedding. Who arranges this naff stuff from hell?
This was a pre inaugural voyage and as such just trade, Crystal people and journalists. However on a Crystal voyage there is usually a White night. You of course are not obliged to participate. Greetings from Silver Moon 😊💙🌊
Was so excited to see a video dedicated to the fitness center, as I've really been wanting to see the Pilate machines up close and personal. So disappointed you didn't even walk over to them. It doesn't appear they have a ballet bar with springs to accompany the machines like Club Pilates does, so that's a bummer. Do you know if anyone can walk-in and use the Pilates machines? If so, I will be on them every day. I've been taking Pilates for years, so not interested in paying $125 an hour for private lessons.
Sorry my video coverage wasn't to your satisfaction. I'm sure that if you liaise with Explora Journeys and/or your Travel Agent, that they will be able to get the necessary more specific answers to your question. As would I if you were one of my clients and you asked for the information.
Your video made my day. I am booked on the Vista October 2025. We leave from Monte Carlo. This outdoor spa was one of my favorite parts of my first Oceania Cruise on the Riviera. This area on the Vista is so much better. Thank you again. Cruise well and enjoy every moment.
Why are guests not dancing? This White Night looks more like a show, not a party. Old Crystal had a great White Night dancing party with most guests dancing. All dance hosts and dance performers were dancing with the guests.
Hi Sofia - this was a pre-inaugural voyage, so was all people from the trade and journalists. It wasn't an actual paying guest voyage. I've seen plenty of pics on social media on voyages since, where guests are enjoying and dancing the night away.
Hello, thanks for the cabin tour. Which room number did you have? I have a question about the noise and music. On the Celebrity Edge class, the music is very loud everywhere. You can hear the party music and daytime entertainment 3 decks below the pool deck, even in your cabin. You can also hear the conversations and music from the restaurant terrace from 5 decks below. Can you hear music and noise from the pool or buffet restaurant (e.g. chairs being moved, footsteps, etc.)on thr balcony or in the cabin? Below your cabin on deck 5 is the terrace of a restaurant. What about the noise here (clinking cutlery, conversations, music,...)? Thanks in advance
Explora Journeys are not really 'party' ships. I didn't experience any noise interference. Suite number as mentioned in the walk around tour and text was 8064. Hope this helps.
I'm assuming, you use the chairs outside to sit at the long desk with a computer? Or do you have to put the computer in your lap while sitting on the sofa?
Thanks for your comment. I see no reason why you couldn't move in a chair from the balcony but I'm sure if you asked your host/butler, they could come up with a suggestion/solution for you. 😊
Morning Jake. I actually can't remember! I think co-ed but would check with your local Silversea office to be sure. If you'd like me to check for you do just drop me an email to francesca@elitecruises.co.uk
I loved the Arts Cafe whilst being a Guest on Silversea Nova ,October 2023 .Many times I frequented the so called , indulging in some coffee and cake. The friendly staff at the Reception were always ready with help and information. Seeing this above, and sitting at my home in Australia gives me a certain Nostalgia of the nice time I had.. Thank you. Mrs.K.Moody
All sorts of evening entertainment and lectures, perhaps cooking demonstrations. In other venues will be various musicians. Then you have Silver Note which is the Jazz and dining evening venue. You won't be short of things to see, listen to and do. If you'd like to discuss reach out to me at francesca@elitecruises.co.uk
As the cruise I was on was all trade, journalists, travel writers etc, and therefore not 'actual' guests, it wouldn't in truth, have provided a true depiction. I'm sure that if you connect to the Crystal groups on social media that you may be able to ask and/or see the sort of imagery you have just requested. Happy cruising.
Personally if a choice between forward and aft I'd do aft but just my opinion 🙋♀️ If you need any more assistance just drop me an email to francesca@elitecruises.co.uk
Thanks for your kind words - how exciting - have a wonderful cruise. If you ever need anyone to assist with the booking of these don't hesitate to let me know 🙂
Hey Sean. My initial response is absolutely. Very spacious. However how that feels to you will hinge on what sort of accommodation on board you'd usually have from comparison purposes. 😊
Oh wow - this is a grade of cruising I don't think I'll ever experience personally. It's absolutely stunning - puts my usual inside cabins to total shame, ha!
@@kathleemcallister good morning. There are usually single supplement fees which can sometimes be zero on limited voyages but more usually range from 25>100%. There is an area on Silversea.com where you can view the solo occupancy rates on certain voyages where they are less.
I loved the Arts Cafe on the Moon. Morning coffee was always up to Melbourne coffee snob standard. And a couple of chocolate truffles with decaf tea finished off the day perfectly.
@@thingsyoulike1391 I didn't take photos and or videos of entire inventory of watches as it wouldn't have been appropriate. This was really just to offer news that Rolex had a shop on board this ship. Perhaps reaching out to Rolex themselves might provide more info?
We've only just discovered your channel here Francesca, but we know we will be visiting it more in the future so have happily SUBSCRIBED today to explore more Elite cruises 👍
Elegant and stylish as we would have expected, but we really like the uncluttered spacious feel thats mostly created by the subtle tones of the décor and furnishings. Nice tour 👍
Great. We've just watched the series Maritime Masters featuring the Scenic Eclipse, so will be interested in seeing your vlog on Eclipse ll@@Elitecruisesuk
Thank you Peter. Great question and one I'm being asked a lot. There are definitely some similarities, but some differences too. I'll be writing an article soon once back as I did with Nova. Perhaps I can point you to my website and keep an eye? Would hope to have it done within a week of return (tomorrow) Not sure if you read my Nova one? www.elitecruises.co.uk/nova-nova-so-good-ive-named-you-twice/
@@robertoceferino1456 you can of course double check with Explora Journeys if you wish. We were advised they can be purchased and there is a limit of one watch purchasable per suite.
@@robertoceferino1456 I have checked again with Explora Journeys. You are partly right that you cannot buy watches in a Rolex store on land. However, on the ship you can.. No pre-orders - based upon what they have in stock. The ruling is that 2 Rolex per day can be sold out of the shop and only one per suite. Always strictly subject to stock levels of course. Perhaps they had stock issues when you were on board?
Thank you again for another wonderful video! Can’t wait for your comparisons to Nova. Do you feel the ship is spacious enough to handle 922 passengers? Thanks
