Welcome to Eamon Walsh DIY. I make quirky, fun and functional projects from metal and wood. I mainly like to use old materials that I have lying around to make things for around my home and garden, while videoing the process so people can learn & be inspired to have a go making their own projects! This is the way I do things, be it right or wrong! Always remember: YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY!! At the moment I am only able to post a video every other week or so...but if anyone wants to pay the bills so I can spend more time making videos go right ahead! :-)
I have a beautiful slice of tabletop made by my father and I 40 years ago from our visit to the California Redwoods. We had a base for it until I moved to the UK for 6 months (30 yrs ago) - kept the top but too expensive to ship the tree trunk base. Ever since I have been looking for a suitable base and having found something similar to your table that design will work perfectly. Sadly the example I found was too high as the top is quite thick and cutting the top and bottom shorter would not work. Anyway, I can cut them to the height I need ! YAY THANK YOU 🥰🥰🥰
I'm so glad you decided to use the natural shape for your caving. It is most attractive than a perfect circle. Great result and great video. Thank you for posting.
Honestly the egg 🥚 🍳 at the end after seeing that whole stove process made me think … “Damn, There’s a man who pays attention to detail.” I would both eat your breakfast Sir and use that stove. Great DIY Vid.
I'm new to this. Nice video! Curious wouldn't it be easier and quicker to use a chainsaw to cut a grid and chisel out chunks then use the angle grinder? I ask because of this but also to take some work off of cutting wheel to get more uses from it?
Nice easy build birdhouses. Good to see you made a way for cleaning out at the end of the nesting season. The cat seemed to be interested too. Was the cat thinking why you made them so small it can't get in or does it like to watch birds? A couple of out cats are members of the feline bird watchers club. I think they want more than just watching birds though.
@@bogstandardash3751 No problem, i dont believe you can purchase them but it easier to cast them in-situ. levelling & squaring them is much easier than trying to lift them into place.
