I’m having that issue and I’ve taken my truck in 3 times now. I also noticed on mine that the “google” circles on the top left corner are solid gray. I remember they use to be the colors of Google. I told them and they won’t listen
Something similar is if you go on J&P cycles, find the V-twin MFG 2" Radii side viper full exhaust system. Its out of stock right now, i run their other set of pipes called the stepped side by side. Ive spent thousands on exhausts and this is by far my favorite

I have the same issue, but i found that if you go into settings, then system, and restart in safe mode it reset without you having to reset to default or turn off the vehicle open and close the driver door and rhen restart the truck
Wow, I have a 2014 and have had electronic issues since I've owned it. I'm really disappointed in GM that they haven't fixed these issues. Seems like too many "cheap foreign" parts being installed in our "Made in the USA" vehicles🤔
this is prob solved by now but did you use the fader and balance to see if it is just 1 speaker causing this? Is the radio Amp part of the radio or seperate? What was the fix, can you let us know please.
I have a 2023 TB and I lose volume completely sometimes. I found out if you hold down the end call button on the steering wheel for approximately 20 seconds (while the truck is in park) it will reset the infotainment system. Not a long term solution but it'll get your audio back.
Kinda late to the party but i I just got an 05 sporty 1200 custom, is that the stock riser and speedometer or did you change them out and if so what brand did you use the change them out?
I was going to ask the same thing. Apparently you can get a speedo mount off a Dyna and swap out the wiring and risers and it’ll work. Just wanted to see if that’s what he’s done. Any info?
Be glad you have sound. I bought two new 2023 Silverados a few weeks ago. Both have random volume failure. Dealer has no clue. Worse buyer remorse I’ve ever had.
Same problem here just got mine about 2 weeks ago super annoying I thought it was Apple CarPlay it does it with everything even phone calls I switched to fm radio the same thing happened!
Same problem here since I bought the truck. May have a solution. For the past two months I've been getting in the truck, shutting the door and letting the screens light up until they go completely blacked out. It just takes a few seconds and then I brake and start the truck. Like most said it was doing it about every 5 times an since I started this routine it hasn't happened again. 90 percent of the time I'm using remote start but it was doing it with an without remote start. I've had a amp an sub-woofer installed since an it still hasn't done it.Let me know if this helps you guys also.
Just came across this. I have a refreshed RST and had the issue when it rains. Not sure if that's the main problem, but that's the only time I have noticed it. I live in south Florida, so the humidity and rain here are constant. I also added an amp, subs and new speakers, and it still happens (with new wiring of course). This might be a GM issue and I have been on forums and RU-vid searching for an answer. Even took it back to Chevy and they said they didn't have a fix. The only way I was able to bypass this was by resetting the radio in 'SAFE MODE' it's an instant fix and you'll be able to turn your volume up without it sounding like you're going to blow your speaker. Nothing else seems to work, hope this helps.
It’s got to be the radio because I had a 22 custom refresh the radio was fine no problems I traded in with 4800 miles to the LT refresh for the nicer infotainment system I have 200 miles and the radio is distorted after 1/4 volume the map zooms in and out a lot and now hey google anit working and volume goes soft and loud so pissed
