Doesn't add up. if thy buy a house for 88 million with a down payment of 35 and a mortgae of 53 then they have zero to invest since the seller will get the 88 million.

Grocery for one person should be around $200-$400 unless they on a diet and only eat once a week then $250 is prefect and that for cooking at home not eating out . Lol Texas , Arizona and NM rent is always cheaper then any other place or states . I used to live in El Paso my 1 br was $650 in Las cruces NM 2 br $750 utilities is only $100 but I live in Seattle 1br is $1659 and 2br $2221 utilities $500 and that not including bills (500), childcare ($1600), or groceries. Food a month for 4 people is another $1200 . Mind you , I didn’t put toys, clothes, accessory, personal stuff like hygiene etc . I haven’t been to the mall in 4 years my kids been hand down clothes and free donations churches . add all that together. Each month I need almost $6k to stay alive with a roof over our head .
You way off with ur prices. Idk where you live but in Canary Wharf where I live I pay 1,800/m, bills 300£, going out solo? 150 drinks plus dinner. And my groceries for the month come to about 1k. So that’s about 3,250£ per month living like a little man no fancy stuff
Prices vary. You can get a cheap gym for under £20 and tube costs vary depending on how far you travel. Often hear of people spending several hundred a month just on tube. 😎

Dubai is built on modern slavery. They take poor peoples passports so they can‘t flee and then they are forced to work under inhumane working and living conditions. Not worth supporting by visiting.

Also, if this is directed to an international audience, it's best to say the prices in dollars, since that's the currency most people are familiar with. But I am really enjoying it so far. When you say your friends pay 2k$ per month, what type of apartment is this? 1, 2 or 3 room apartment? However, I see that you draw many comparisons between UK and UAE, so maybe you could call the video: "British citizen shares thoughts about Prices, Salaries, Education, in the UAE" and make it more focused for that audience. Thanks a lot, great suggestions on saying prices in dollars and video title! These are very helpful. £200 was for 5 nights in total (although I am guessing I got lucky with the price, as it was a bit off season), and my friends paying about $2k / month in Dubai usually pay for a 1-bedroom apartment. Hii, I’m a student that is currently in high school and I’m working to be like you. Could you tell me what are guaranteed to get you AT LEAST a partial scholarship (50% or so)
It’s definitely hard to say what is guaranteed to get you in, since there is no set checklist and admissions review applications holistically. However, as long as you have relatively good grades / exam scores / extracurriculars and show in the application that you’ve done your research about nyuad and can connect your motivation to your past experiences, you should be in a good position. I follow a guy called Dave Ramsey, I have stick to what he called baby steps, I have followed those baby steps thr best thing you can do have financial security in your mind.
