Hi They just seem to mean its a genuine bone folder as it is used to score things. The last thing you had. In the last few years here in uk clear pads were brought to market to replace black and white foam pads (dimensionals). So people could not see what was used to raise pictures or decoupage etc up. Think that what it might be. Other wise just large square glue dots. I remember the test card at the end of the tv day. Always followed by static.
@@debbieharris5667 I thought so… I can’t wait to use some. When I realized the description was wrong I just felt like the 5 year old whose balloon was popped. 🤭
Very click baity. Bone folders are almost always made from plastic nowadays anyway. It's very unrealistic to expect a bone folder made from actual bone for $1.74
@@kathleenwhite3733 I will learn one day. What I received works just as well… I was just a little disappointed. I have at least five plastic folders. I really didn’t need another one lol. Thanks for telling me.
Bone folder seems to be a generic name these days. While some may be made of bone many aren’t (ie fiskars).Perhaps real bone products can’t be shipped from temu. I don’t know, but hopefully yours will work just fine. Thank you for your informative video. I enjoyed it.
@@SuzanneDesign yes, the one I received worked perfect. I was just disappointed because I wanted it to match my other vintage items and the description was not correct. I already have at least four plastic folders that work great. lol 😂
I have never seen a bone folder that is made of bone (and I am really old). I imagine there are bone folders made of bone but also assume they are expensive.
Their return policy is, you can return as many items as you need to from the same order. It means you can't return something from this order and then next week want to return something else from the same order. That's what they mean by one time. Make sure you have everything you want to return from this order, and do it all at once. It's free, returns that way. But it has to be in the original packaging. If the bar code is not with the item, they won't accept it. I've done lots of returns and that's how that works. You do have 90 days to return things. But once you start the return process, you then have only 14 days to get it to the post office or UPS to ship it back. I've also learned to cut open their bags very carefully so I can use the same bag to return items and not have to find a box or something else to use. I hope this explains it better. Loved your order. You had some really cool things in there. Lots of fun things to play with.
@@reflekte yes, me too. But when I have something that costs a good bit, they want that back. The cheaper stuff they will let you keep, because it would cost them more for the postage than the product is worth. Or if you have a bunch of items that need returning, then certain things they want back. But I do have a ton of stuff that they just told me to keep, too.
The zip pocket actually goes inside a travelers notebook cover. And, I laugh at descriptions. I think those are ‘genuine’ bone folders, not ‘genuine bone’ folders. 😂 I ordered the same ones.
Like you, I used it and left it. Then a year or so later I’m trying to open it. Same issue you first had of not opening. THANK YOU for showing me how to open it again:)
