Thanks, I like your video! 🙂 Here's a youtube video I want to share with you and everyone! The title is : Continuous Electric Display (CED) In this video, I will do a short demonstration of a new analog display technology, made with static electricity. It is a technique that uses the Jacob's Ladder effect.
Thanks for uploading this ! I was unable to participate in the last couple of GQN sessions (April & May '24) but hopefully will be able to join in for June. I have a Xiegu G90 too... good value. Best wishes from Nelson. Stephen, ZL3ABX.
Thanks mate, I got one thinking it was built already, I got a electronics guy to build it as I had no experience, could you link me to coil please. Thanks. Electronics guy said it really needs to be tuned with some device
I bought it from an electronics store called Jaycar, they can be on the expensive side though. You'll be able to get it from most electronic suppliers. Look for "Reed Switch Normally open".
Olá, não fiz nenhum teste, mas: O manual indica 450 lumens na configuração mais alta durante 3,5 horas. A luminosidade diminui ligeiramente à medida que a bateria perde tensão. Tradução via Deepl.com

The one thing that would take Noble’s course to the next level would be to have both a male and female native speaker. I agree that having the speaker repeat at a normal and a slower pace is crucial, but not all his courses do this; the French course for instance only has the speaker say the phrase once, and having that slower run through is beneficial because it lets you realize what sounds get run together, or lost at normal speed.
I'm not sure, sorry. My batteries last at least 6 months at a time. I always take the computer off the bike when it's parked. My only other tip would be to make sure not to accidentally trigger the computer. If the two metal nibs underneath are shorted, it will keep waking up.
Paul Noble was inspired by Michel Thomas. I have a newspaper cutting of an article where he said as much from the Daily Mirror. This an extract from it. I have the newspaper cutting itself (not online) just in case fans of Paul ever try to deny it. Undeterred, Paul had a go at learning French from a textbook while studying history at Manchester University. But he got nowhere and despaired of ever breaking the language barrier. "Then one day I spotted language courses on CD by Michel Thomas, who I'd seen on telly and who achieved amazing results," he says. "I bought the French and German courses and I can honestly say they changed my life. "There is no hard work involved, you simply listen to the CDs and within weeks you start to understand and speak the language."
If one listens to both courses the inspiration is pretty obvious. I don’t know why anyone would deny it or Stan for anybody about it. The differences in the two are sufficient that people could gravitate to one or the other; the end result of learning a language is afterall the ultimate goal. Just like in real life a subject in college like algebra can be taught by multiple professors; both are teaching the same material, and yet a student might click more with one professor than another. Still I don’t see any problem with people constantly brining this point up, it’s not the issue some seem to think it is.
The similarities are obvious however Noble's goes further by getting native speakers involved. Although the depth of Noble's courses aren't as much as Thomas'
I tried a couple of Michel Thomas. The Portuguese one was OK, it had an English teacher with a native speaker as well. The Russian one only had a native speaker: I know people say you should learn from a native speaker, but you get the problem you get with any teaching: a teacher who finds the subject easy struggles to help students who find it difficult. Paul Noble gets the best of both.
