Hi man!!! Congratulations!!! The KING TUBBY style is my style...awww. I work with Ableton live 11 ...you don't know how long I've been looking for a filter like that and ...just in the style of KING TUBBY!!!! I love it!!! At first I wanted to buy Alborosie dub station but I don't know why the manufacturer took it off the market so I had a hard time finding another one. :( Do you know if there is an emulator that reproduces that kind of HP filter? Or would you know how to get it? I really hope my friend that you can give me a hand....:) ONE LOVE & UNITY
Hi ! Many thanks for great message ! In fact we preapre a plugins of that filter from a long time . I stop the project when i saw the Alborosie one ...I was not angry but stressed about the timing :-) The plugins work nice but very hard on CPU . Hi, just downloaded the "DEMO" and works good in Logic 10.15.7/Catalina. Question : The plug-in is missing some of the kit sounds in this video....is that normal? I noticed the Snare Roll is missing and the Toms sound different. Thank you.
Hi , Thanks for your message ; The DEMO is just a Roland TR-707 . The real Rubaddrum library is a real drum kit with pre rolls , more ariculations , multi velocity and roundrobin samples to avoid robotic sound + more option to create your sound ( layering ) .If the plugons DEMO work , the real version will work also :)
easy westfinga..respect for your works but to my ears it sounds compressed? not sure if it's the upload but Junjo and scientist had a much more spaced , open , wider sound?
Hi , I never compress the sound , maybe is youtube upload . You make an error , the sound isn t created by Scientist or Junjo . It s recording engineer at Channel One like Barnabas , Maxi , Solje and other ...in combinaison with Roots radics , amazing musicians! THEY are the sound....already in tape before Scientist or Junjo touch a thing . ( I have some multitrack from Ch1 , like 20 songs . At recording they recorded the band live , so it s already pre-mixed before "mixing" 4 tracks at Tubby . Seb
@WestFinga -- Is this going to be part of one of the Rubaddrum expansions? And how soon do you think those "coming soon" expansions will be before being released? I am hoping for a summer sale so that I could afford pick up everything including Percufinga. A demo of Percufinga would be good... I have not found any video or audio samples of what it sounds like. It must be good though, I suspect, given how fantastic Rubaddrum sounds.
I feel desesperate because I wanted to hear the complete accord on the guitar I hate too many sound effects and not hear the nature of the music and then do the effects :(

@@WestFinga That's okay, thank you for your response.. and amazing music!! Other than prince fatty do you have any recommendations where I could find old reggae multitracks online? Just bought my first analogue mixer and reel to reel and spring reverb but have no multitracks. If not thanks anyway!

You will need an audio interface with multiple outputs at least 8 to start. Take the multitracks in your DAW and route those to however many outputs you need. From there plug those outs to the ins of your mixer.
Thanks , you will laught ;) I use all classic things , A Radial J48 DI and then a plugins called Amplitube 4 , first patch default at startup . I don t use a pick , just the finger.Then it s a technique to " release" the left hand at right moment you "hit " the right hand . I m not a guitarist , so i use my ears to find the sound . A tricks , yes One is cool . Detune all strings 1/2 tone to have a fat , blue sound ( love for lead guitar and pluck ) or , Uptune 1/2 the string , it will give a brighter sound at source and a good " chick chick for skank !
