Hi all, we are Charlie and Rosie, amateur vloggers and backpackers.
On this channel our aim is to document our travels whilst potentially providing some inspiration for others. We have been stagnant and comfortable for far too long, so, it is time to change it up!

Burleigh is not one of my favourite places on the Gold Coast. Too cramped with the highway and esplanade and not as much around as far as food, drink and entertainment I reckon. I actually prefer Northern NSW, just over the border. From Kingscliff down through to Evans Head which is slightly south of Ballina.
Yeah more so just finding the part seemed to be a hassle especially for two people who know nothing about mechanics. It comes with the territory though if you own a van so we are just happy it wasn't anything major!
We saw more nice reviews on Peace Tailors. So we went to them in April 2024 first! With a detailled plan(drawing) we came in, to come out within 5 minutes again. Nothing was possible, difficult English, and ending up with hughe prices. We went to Yaly Couture and within 30 minutes we had ordered all the shirts/trousers and dresses, as planned. No problem at all overthere!
Oh that is such a shame. Sorry about that! However we are happy you were able to find someone that was able to complete your order with no problems. So very bizarre.
Charlie appreciate your honesty which is refreshing although as we’re about to come out for a 6 week trip not great to hear your non recommendation of visiting Oz!! We don’t have a van though so 🤞🏻
I was honest but don't forget I was ill cranky and things were going wrong haha. We both LOVE Australia we have just had a bit of bad luck. I'm sure you guys will love your trip! It's an amazing country.
Thank you so much!☺️ We really appreciate your support and we are happy you have been able to see a progression. We hope you continue to enjoy our videos!🤙
Good effort, keep it up 👍👍 I figure you ought to deal with SEO.If you can further develop your Search Engine optimization (SEO) score, your endorsers and video perspectives will develop naturally. Then you will get more views on your videos organically.

And every friday theres a "pop up pub" with food and drink and toilets with a great social atmosphere. Im 16 lived here my whole life and honestly theres alot to do in the village of tackley. 😅
Thank you! This was so helpful 😊 would you say going in November to Thailand would still be quite rainy then? Im planning on doing the banana pancake trail so starting in north Thailand -> Lao -> Vietnam -> Cambodia -> Thai islands -> Philippines -> Indonesia -> Malaysia. I’m going for 6 months to a year. Do u think that would work? Do u possibly have any suggestions? 💕
Thank you so much! It is totally fine to head to Thailand in November. It only rained in the Koh Islands so you should be in the clear. That route will most definitely work! We say give Laos a lot of time - it’s stunning, if you need to extend your Vietnam visa - do, head to Lombok in Indonesia and if you have time go to Borneo, Malaysia!
Wow, this vlog is a gem! Eloise and I are just starting our vlogging journey, and we appreciate how much work goes into creating content like this. Subscribed to your channel and can’t wait to see where your travels take you next! Cheers! 🌏✈️ - Ben
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment! We are both glad you enjoyed it, and hopefully it was helpful. Yes, a lot of effort is involved in making our content even if it's not always clear. Thank you for the sub, and we look forward to seeing what you guys get up to also! All the best guys 😁
Awesome video and really helpful. I'm trying to really crack down and get an idea of a budget plan for Thailand in a few months. Your video gave me a better idea than most of the websites I've been scrolling through all afternoon!
Thank you. we are glad you enjoyed it! Yes, we saw lots of galleries on our travels, and the majority were empty, which was nice for us, but a shame for the artists works!
Yes, Lombok is super peaceful and has so much to offer! It was one of my favourite places we visited! Thanks, Gorden. I will have to get more practice in, though, before we reach the Gold Coast!
It's amazing you guys wanna try Local life In indonesia. Indonesia have 1331 tribes In every province and region and 652 different Language beside national language Bahasa Indonesia. One the amazing tribes one day you can visit indonesia Asmat at Papua, Mentawai at Mentawai island and also have beautiful beach, Dayak at Borneo where also you can visit Orang Utan In the forest and the last Badui at Banten West jave and also you can find rare one horned rhinos that only 74 left In the world. Indonesia not only the famous Bali. But the good things you visit Lombok 😊
I will definitely be giving it another go once we hit Australia! Yes, everyone makes it look very easy from the beach, but once you get out in the water, it's a different story, haha.
As usual, the history were taught differently in the other part of the worlds. Actually, the Malays were among the first people to be involved in giant-size shipbuilding, advanced navigation, and long distance maritime trade. During the third century B.C.E they were already in the international maritime commerce with a network of maritime trade routes stretching all the way from Western Europe to East Asia and down the east coast of Africa. Additionally, in the history of international navigation, Malay sailors were also the first to use the balance-lug sail for their jongs (ancient local term for junk) and ghalis (galleys). This has been recognised as an invention of global significance. Malay ingenuity in navigation was still observed during the Sultanate of Malacca in the 15th century. However, the size of the ships was slightly reduced but still slightly bigger than the Chinese and Portuguese vessels. What they lack of were the firepower and seeing how powerful Malay Kingdom is becoming in the spice trade route back in the days, Western and European started to take notice and decided to take control of the profitable route. They took over the Malacca Sultanate region and the rest of its related kingdom, then weaken the whole Kingdom by separating between 2 powers, which are now known as Malaysia and Indonesia. The Portuguese conqueror that time Afonso de Albuquerque, for example, was shocked to see the size of Malay's vessels and referred to them as “World Shakers" when he was in the midst of attacking Malacca.
