I have both the Super7 ReAction and Reaction+. Surprisingly, I'll say that he normal ReAction BAT, if you disregard the o-ring articulation, is much better! It's bulkier, it has the classic vintage colors, it has a mat black plastic that feels awesome, and it has a transparent "glass" on the chest so you can see the gears inside! (edit) AND the normal ReAction have a gun holster on the side that fits a GUN! AND the chest strap in not part of the BODY, it's detached! I hope Brian Flynn does the ReAction BAT in ReAction+ format!
The swivel neck instead of the ball-joint neck is a huge fail in my opinion. The raw metal non-anodized rivets, the huge goofy weapons, & incompatibility of ARAH backpacks are another massive fail. No details in the uniforms such as folds/wrinkles in the costumes & the skinny non-contoured legs simply appear very cheap & lazy. They had room to improve on the original releases & nearly 40 years later all they could come up with is a vastly inferior product. Cobra Commander is the only one that looks good to me. The rest of this wave so far is quite unimpressive.
I have watched tones of these vids. Just so excited can’t wait to get these figures. I ordered 20. But the vintage weapons will look way better in there hands 😎😎 Delta17 toys you should get some of those as well. They are $25 American or $32 Canadian and they are made even better than our vintage ones plus swivel hands. Super detailed. It I can’t wait to get the Bats
The Snake Eyes and B.A.T. seem to be how Lanard or Remco would of made them back in the day. While the Cobra Commander appears to be only one of these figures thats up to vintage Hasbro quality.
This is the best review to date in my opinion. I appreciate your comments regarding plastic quality. It was one of the questions I had because the other Reaction figures look pliable compared to the 80’s. I look forward to collecting these figures because they are stylised comic or cartoon representations. The one thing I am disappointed with are no head tilts. Come on! It can’t be much more expensive to make the head tilt. I hope Super 7 change their neck moulds to ball joints so the figures can look up and down.
Yup I agree they should have went with ball necks instead of the 82 style headsculpts. Hopefully they will correct it. It would definitely be better imo.
I get Super7s approach, wanting to emulate the cartoon and comic with these figures, but I can't quite get over the cleanness of the sculpts. Looks like they're each wearing spandex - no wrinkles, no cuffed sleeves, no real-world details, nothing. Coco looks decent and the Bat is, well, the comic version of when the Bat first made its appearance, but overall, these appear to be disappointing. Snake Eyes' blue boots, skinny legs, oversized weapons, hollow pack, and half-sheathed sword are enough for me to pass on him and Cover Girl could've been sculpted with a better face. Overall, Super7 gets a solid C- on these first 4 o-ringers in my humble opinion. If these were $10 each, maybe, but I'd rather put the $20 they're charging towards some more Delta17 figures, some vintage Joes or any of the new 3.75" o-ring figures comin out.
Delta-17 look great! Seriously great figures but I am more into the stylised super 7. I agree they lack detail but I think that’s what makes them unique.
Super 7 should be giving us unique versions of classic characters if they want people to buy into this. And why make Cover Girl in your first wave? Super 7 you have serious problems painting and sculpting faces- esp. female faces. Cobras and Cobra Officers updated like the Cobra Commander along with Storm Shadow and Firefly would probably be worth buying. Having the joe's in winter gear would be good too (Duke, Flint, LJ, Scarlett, SE, Bazooka & RB all wearing winter jackets and parkas and Shipwreck in a Peacoat)
They need to make things we never had before... The Visor Snake-Eyes should of had all new webgear- up dated him and stupid blue boots is not an update... the original SE version two was better.
They’ll release all the B.A.T. colors, don’t worry they will milk the molds as usual. The paint apps are clean on super 7, nothing sloppy… people complain about the $20 retail price but in this economy it’s realistic. They pay for the license and they are well done, I’m not going to complain about well done collectables.

Not gonna lie these look like they came from the dollar general. I stopped buying all super 7. They pretend to be high end until you get them in hand and find out they are garbage. Over priced garbage. These should be 15$ bucks a piece.
When I first saw Super 7, I honestly thought they were a joke, or were a Happy Meal toy at best. Then I saw them at retail, and saw the price. To. Each their own.. 😂
I like the head of the super-7 snakeyes.. but not the body. same with cobra commander. The best one so far, is the B.A.T. that looks the best out of the super-7 figures you showed, but I still prefer the original to that.
I had planned on picking them up but I don't think I will now that you mention the plastic. That's what I complained about with the s7 ultimate cobra commander that I got, it's really brittle and cracked and the foot joints are loose and falls over, not to mention the 7"scale doesn't work with my GI Joe classified series and I'm getting all of the hiya 4" GI Joe line and prefer the updated look and being imports for $24 I'll be happy with those. I don't have a big oring collection so the only way I will get these is if they go to clearance or if I happen to see one in target and get curious 😊

Hmm. Haven't opened mine yet. Hope it's OK. Never planned on buying any Mondo but pulled the trigger on this exclusive with base. Shes a favirite character fir sure. They're just to expensive for what they are. Well see if lesson learned about mondo...not that it matters. Have No interest in buying any other stuff from them
Congratulations on getting her! A word of advice on her boots and getting them to look right. I imagine they pushed them down for shipping to avoid any bonding issues with the fresh paint, but it's intended for the top parts to be pushed upwards and over her knee joints, raising them to meet the yellow lines on her leg.
Man! The factory dropped the ball on this one. I’m sure if this is heartbreaking for the customers this is much more heartbreaking for the creators. It’s so sad the face paint doesn’t look like the promos. On the angry head I can see the headband paint is off and it looks like a different face altogether because of the misaligned stencils. As for the shin guards, you’re supposed to push them up not down.
I got an email from Mondo about the possibility of the defect like 2 weeks before I even got my figure, so the fact that they're that on top of it makes me feel good. Im just waiting for my email back from them... I'm a patient guy and I'm cool with waiting cause I know stuff happens, plus I've dealt with NECA customer service before so just the fact that Mondo gives a damn is refreshing. The faces look great tho besides the misplaced eye so once that's fixed I feel like its gonna be all good. Everything else on her looks awesome 👍🏼
Great figures!! I love the cartoon line! I am happy the Collector hold the MOTU Classics figures, I have the whole collection of them. I do not collect Masterverse, so perfect that the Classics line, including Club Grayskull fit in their. :)
Grimolkin is the statue he steals from kitterina's Cat people, which turns into a giant in the Episode "The cat and the spider" And the staff Evil-lyn has is the shaping staff ( same named episode) which can change anybody's form So glad you have these! There is so much MOTU stuff out at the moment.
